Green Carmeleth -
This green is a very pretty dark olive color, not a drab washed-out olive, or bright new with it's lighter green, this dragon is simply a very ripe, lush olive shade that is extremely easy upon the eyes. She’s a lithe green, maybe a little too thin for one who is supposed to have plumped up on the yolk inside her egg, but such is life. Maybe the yolk wasn’t of a quality she perferred? For you see, this green hatches with quality tastes. She won’t settle for anything less than the best.

When Life Began Egg
A gleam centers upon the egg and brilliance heralds many new beginnings. What begins remains a mystery cloaked within the shadows along every edge but pink folds stray toward the light. More surely linger still hidden never showing how plentiful this new life might someday become.
Likewise the egg hides it's own size among the shadows. At times it appears it must extend throughout the shadows themselves, at others it appears mere light nestled in wait. The right moment to reveal itself never seemingly happens. Perhaps someone will pursue investigation during egg touching because otherwise the true size may never be known.
Those who imagine how time began have the best chance at recognizing this is their fairy tales brought to life.
Brown Cludoth -
Mystery enshrouded his egg until Cludoth, with his straightforward manner, shattered most expectations. Being average in size kept this brown unimpressive beyond each bulge of muscle along his lean figure. One look would reveal everything about him and people know his strength more from browns larger than himself. His headknobs thin further up top, almost seeming like spikes which contrast against the toasty golden brown hide.

It's Just A Trifle Egg
Green Elespeth -
The wings of this little hatchling seem to sit at an odd angle - almost as if, were she human, she had her hands on her hips. The way they sit along her back you can almost hear an indignant-sounding, "Well I never!". There's nothing wrong with her wings at all though, they work just fine. A bright lime-green streak flares down her throat and spreads onto her belly, clashing violently with the much more muted forest green of her upper parts. A long graceful neck topped with a neat head and slightly short muzzle contrast with the thick stubby tail at her other end.
Based on Elespeth
Beyond the illusory flames of its neighbor, this egg also protects the dragon within. Of course, that can be said about ALL eggs, but this one is... tougher, somehow. Harder. NOTHING will get through this shell to harm its occupant... not that Ormanth would allow any harm to come to any of her eggs to begin with.
Blue Kikyoth -
A deep, rich blue overall - the color still known as 'royal blue', though the reasons for it have been lost to time - the top of Kikyoth's head is a much paler shade, with streaks extending down his neck almost to the base. There's also a ring of darker splotches around his neck, right below his head. A mid-size blue, he nevertheless has a surprising strength, giving him great stamina while flying; unlike many blues, he'll easily be able to last an entire Fall without faltering. Unfortunately, this means that during particularly tiring conditions - high winds, a dense Thread count, etc. - he won't admit to tiring, and his rider will have to keep a close watch on his condition to make sure he doesn't overextend himself. This will also apply to Weyrling training; Kikyoth will often insist on keeping up with his larger brothers, usually to - or past - the point of exhaustion.
Based on InuYasha - anime
Blue Nichsonth -
You'd never really expect to see a devious expression on a dragon's face, but with one eyeridge higher than the other and his muzzle seemingly twisted to one side that's the impression you get of this fine blue. Almost like you expect him to be mocking you behind your back. Medium sized for a blue, his head is the only thing that really distinguishes him from anything other than the norm for his colour. Neither large nor small, he nevertheless has a solidity which gives you the opinion that there is plenty of muscle in his bulk. His wings are a decent size for the rest of him and the majority of his hide is a uniform, slightly steely blue.
Based on Jack Nicholson
Ominous Mists Egg
Beyond the swirling mists surrounding the egg, like fog or the mists coming up off of the sea on some mornings, the egg bares a very odd golden pattern along the top that curves around the egg, There is a pattern on it, almost like a coin, only made of metal instead of wood. The bottom of the egg is colored by contrasting reds, one a brown red, like dried blood, the other a brighter red, like freshly spilled blood. Perhaps some ruthless outcast has injured someone in an attempt to steal that wonderful golden coin. One can only hope that the dragon inside is a little more pleasant to deal with.
Green Sparroweth -
There are some dragons that come out looking very much like their sex, either very feminine or very masculine. Sparroweth manages to straddle both looks, parts of her very definitely feminine and parts of her much more masculine than one might expect out of a green. She is a long, medium built dragon that manages to both come off muscular and something a bit more dainty. Perhaps its her strong but delicate cheekbones on her otherwise firm muzzle that throws off the picture, or maybe those darkly lined eyes as if a rich Lady Holder had taken her makeup to the medium green face. Then again maybe its the whole of her body, strong and muscular but adorned with long, graceful wings and legs graced with long claws that confuses the eye. Whatever the case she'll be a beauty but not in any conventional manner.

Green Suntouth -
In the world, there is the known and the unknown, the adventure and staying home, the easy choice and the risk. Suntouth struggles with the two options in her life, but will inevitably take a risk if it is the wiser option presented to her. She will likewise give her rider counsel in a similiar vein, showing pragmatism and intelligence in all aspects of life except their shared personal life.
Based on Leetah Elfquest
Green Luidnarth -
This little green dragon is the color of a dark leaf at its peak of health upon a grand tree. She’s remarkably lithe and agile from the shell and her body structure portrays that perfectly. One look at Luidnarth and you can tell she’ll be formidable. This green will end up not on the small size, neither the large, but somewhere nicely in between the two. As far as her appearance goes, she’s a comely green without being overly flashy. Her headknobs are on the small, somewhat pointy side but they suit her without detracting at all from her presence.
Based on Legolas- LOTR
Candidates will want to touch this egg to feel the fuzzy fur but they’ll be sadly disappointed. That’s not an animal hide draped over the egg at all, it’s a solid, smooth shell and from a distance it will amuse many, but close up there’s an air of disappointment surrounding the egg. Maybe it’s the egg itself loaning an air of sorrow, or maybe just wanting to feel the fuzzy and not being able to will cause more than one to sigh, who knows.
Brown Marwarth -
This brown will roll out of his shell drenched in egg goo, as if he didn’t get to stay in there long enough to absorb most of the nutrients he was supposed to and the extra liquid just gushes out upon the sands. Marwarth will be deemed extremely healthy after his first dragonhealer inspection, but he’s tiny. He’s no bigger than a blue and most of his limbs and features just seemed to be miniaturized somehow. His head knobs and tail will seem a touch out of proportion to his size, as if he’ll never fully grow into either- and he won’t.
Based on Martin the Warrior
The Lucky Egg
There is a cold tingly feeling when you touch this egg, combined with a slight dizzy feeling as if the world suddenly seems to whirl around you for a quick moment. When it fades again this egg will seem like any other on the sands, but perhaps the hatchling inside has already made it’s mind up about whether you are to be it’s rider or not.
Blue Cauth -
This little blue dragon is one to capture your heart as soon as you see him. He has a handsome well formed face with eyes that will follow you round, giving the effect of fascination, rather than his real purpose of keeping an eye on what you are doing. Cauth can be suspicious, especially of females, both humans and dragons, mainly because he finds them confusing and hard to understand. Why do they think that way? What do they really mean? What are they not telling you?
Based on Matt Cauthon Wheel of Time
Shades of Cream
Bronze Berleth -
Long and elegantly proportioned, this bronze, but powerfully built. Wide strong wings of a darker colour than the rest of him will carry him easily aloft when the time comes. His body is shaded more towards sunlight filtering through autumn leaves, causing a dappled mix of light to medium hues along his sides and belly. He's certainly an imposing dragon to look upon, graceful even when just hatched, for all his size. His head is wide at the top of his skull but narrows somewhat towards his muzzle, making his appearance very pleasing.
Based on Mr. Darcy
Green Marilath -
Dragons are meant to be graceful creatures, aren't they? Well somehow that usual grace seems to have given this green girl the slip. With a short tail and neck and a distinctly dumpy appearance, you wonder how she'd actually be able to get off the ground to fly, but she can manage that alright. A rather muted muddy green colouring shades her hide, meaning that she doesn't stand out overmuch amongst other greens. She'll never grow to be one of the biggest greens, stopping at the lower end of the normal scale for that colour, and she'll be a little lacking in some of the normal agility too because of her compressed length. But she does have a bit more stamina than those lithe greens who seemingly can turn on a wingtip, so she doesn't lose out.
Based on Mrs. Weasley
Disturbing Eye Egg
At first glance, this egg is well named; the black splotch surrounded by a pale blue splotch looks like nothing so much as an eye, as if the dragonet inside were somehow looking out. Of course, if it were, that would be even MORE disturbing, as it's quite clearly a human eye - right down to a patch of white on either side of the blue - not a dragon eye.
At second glance... it gets worse. The 'skin' around the 'eye' has been somehow peeled back, leaving long bloody striations in the eggshell. And then comes the third glance, which makes everything... even worse. The imagery of a giant eye looking out becomes even more obvious, with the shell looking like it's somehow been smashed open, leaving a huge, gaping hole in the side, and great gashes along the edges.
All in all, this is quite possibly the most unsettling egg ever to be clutched, and it will take a very brave Candidate to touch it... at least, on the non-blank side.

Flames Touch Egg
Green Neppinith -
This green is towards the smaller end of the normal green scale, but has somewhat large feet for all her lack of length. It does make her seem a little unbalanced while on the ground, but of course dragons are meant to fly so it doesn't matter. In shade, if you were to picture a large vegetable patch with different shades of green dotted about you would be pretty close to this little hatching's unusual hide markings. She's quite slender and will be able to dodge away from close brushes with Thread quite easily, although not always successfully. Her headknobs will appear to be rather more pointed than is usual, and her whole physical being will be rather expressive of her emotions and thoughts.
Based on Pippen LOTR
Molten Rock Egg
At first glance, one would swear that this egg had burst into flames, or at the very least was about to. One side of the egg looks partially melted, with the eggshell running, dripping down to the hot sands below. The other side, blackened and charred to a crisp. In between, down at the base of the egg, is a pool of liquid reddish-gold fire, obviously responsible for the melting of one side and charring of the other. And surrounding the egg, like a nimbus of fire seen around Belior as it passes in front of Rukbat, are very real - to the eyes, at least - orange flames.
Some Candidates who manage to brave the illusory flames to touch this egg might swear to Faranth that the surface is, indeed, warmer to the touch than the other eggs, while those of less... active imaginations will scoff at the very notion. Regardless, the Molton Rock Egg evokes, strangely, feelings of both transience and permanance; on the one hand, the egg itself seems solid and unchanging, despite the flickers of fire that move about the surface. On the other hand, however, one almost can't help the notion that, were one able to pass through the core of this, one would be changed, perhaps to the person one was always meant to be... or perhaps just to the person the dragon inside the egg thinks you should be. Either way, whoever impresses the hatchling within will never be the same again...
Green Orgrunth - Gwy'dion
One of the first things people will notice about Orgrunth is just how very attractive she is. Even for a green hatchling, she will be small... not abnormally, but easily amongst the smallest of her clutch. Her size, however, only serves to enhance the lithe lines of her limbs, the willowyness of her body, the perfect proportions of it all. Though small, her slender frame gives her limbs, tail, and neck the illusion of extra length; without any frame of reference, Orgrunth appears to be a lot bigger than she is, sheerly based on how long her limbs *look*. Her head is as proportionate as the rest of her, with the sole exception being her eyes, which are quite large in comparison. The size of them, as well as the obvious gentleness they usually show, gives Orgrunth a child-like air of innocence about her, which her manner does little to counter.
Based on Rhapsody Symphony of Ages
Can You Smell It Egg
What could the egg nose smell, a rotten egg about? No, surely Ormanth would know if there was a rotten egg in her clutch. No one else can smell a rotten egg, and just why would an eggshell be smelling anything anyway? It’s a ludicrous thought, it really is, it’s just an egg and even nose eggs do not have the ability to smell, they just don’t.
Blue Robiwilth -
Robiwilth, this blue is bright and sassy right from the start. Oh yes, sassy. He’s not your stoic blue in any sense of the word. He considers himself very, very witty and you will too before long because he just loves to share his wit. Not a shy bone in this dragon’s body the lifemate that Impresses this hatchling will marvel that he’s talking to just about anyone who will listen. The thing is…anything he has to say to others is playful and joking, humor being the only thing he exhibits to them. To his lifemate he’ll show a much different side. In public about others he’ll be the life of the party, whether there is a party going on or not, but in private he’ll show his needy side.
Based on Robin Williams
Nightmare's Maw Egg
There seems an insatiable hunger present without there being an explanation about what the hunger truly seeks for itself. Is it food? Is it companionship that it intends on not giving freedom? Should one look for anything which might suggest loneliness they'd not find anything beyond the eggs seeming vicious determination. Like whatever came past would be swallowed indiscrimately for some reason.
So be cautious around this egg come hatching time. From the shell alone it appears possible that what bursts forth might end up being a nightmare given dragon form.
bronze Jaxnelth -
Jaxnelth: A rather scruffy looking bronze hatches from the nightmare egg. He's a broad shouldered hatchling that clearly has the promising appearance of becoming a large, if not bulky dragon someday. There seems little else setting him apart from other bronzes since his shiny hide lacks the colorful blends present on some. His coloration has him a bit plain but in a rather cute way. Dragons aren't supposed to have dimples, right?
Based on Stargate Jack O'neil
Claws of FIre Egg
Brown Harkneth -
The dragon that will emerge from the Claws of Fire egg does so shrouded in black. A black dragon? Never! He’s just drenched from his egg goo and that makes this very dark brown dragon seem almost black. After drying his hide will lighten considerably, well…sort of. He’ll never be a light brown or even a medium brown, but forever termed dark. He’s the color of a strongly brewed klah just shy of being burnt on the cookstove. He’s not that dark all over which is probably a good thing. As he uncurls himself from his shell Harkneth reveals a lighter bole brown color about his muzzle etched back on his head until just past his eyes. That same reddish-brown color will mark him in thin swaths across his fore paws. He’s a handsome fellow that’s for sure.
Based on Torchwood - Jack Harkness
Dizzy Rainbow Egg
What's worse, there is the feeling that if someone stares at the shell for too long they might start to feel sick and stagger just as surely as that ale drunk man did. One thing's for sure, Ormanth won't likely let any drunk Candidates near her eggs, even as dizzying as this one is.
blue Hayellth -
Some dragons are shelled agreeable and easy to work with, some are absolute nightmares though they may beg to differ, Hayellth is the latter. From the get go he'll know that he's important simply because he's a dragon and only dragons can protect Pern and the great golden dragons from Thread. Unfortunately with this knowledge he'll believe that everyone else should bend around him when he is being difficult, not the other way around. If he's having a bad day classes, and later drills, should stop or be modified to accommodate him and if the AWLM's or his wingleader disagrees then he'll stop working completely. In fact, the more his lifemate, the AWLM, and the wingleader protest the more he'll balk. No, he won't respond well to yelling and threats, he'll need a gentler hand and the occasional hard tap to his muzzle to work.

Convoluted Puzzle Egg
Green Ezonth -
The hatchling inside the Convoluted Puzzle egg hopefully won’t be too hard to understand, unlike her shell. The green coiled within holds great promise. She’s going to be a long, sleek green when she’s full grown and after a month as a young dragon the signs of that sleek lankiness will be very obvious.
