Sand Conquerors Clutch - Video Games
Hatching September 21 2008
Pern date 220.127.116.11
Sword of Conquer
There has to be a curious green inside this egg, maybe a demanding blue, a brave brown or a boisterous bronze. Who knows, but rest assured whatever comes from this egg must have a sense of adventure to have such a fine egg.And we all know how rare and precious swords are on Pern. Surely this means that the dragon inside will do important things and be a protector of Pern.
Blue Empith - Fayzan
With dark blue hide that fades to lighter spots around his belly, Empith is a small blue. Sure heís bigger than a green but he is far from being the biggest blue ever. His headknobs, though nicely shaped, actually wiggle when he gets excited or curious. The rest of his body shows that he will have a more athletic build rather than muscular.
Based on Age of Empires
Scales of Knowledge
The darker side pulls one in as if to whisper secrets in ones ear if they lean close enough. All in all it makes one wonder just what the young dragon inside must be like. Will it be one to keep or tell secrets? Will it be one that values knowledge? Will it share or will it hold all it knows close?
Blue Sarojinth - Faye
Bursting from his shell, Sarojinth will announce to one and all that they may marvel at his perfection. That he is one of the smallest blues ever to have hatched is entirely beside the point. To add to his small stature he will seem to be nothing more then limbs - lean and lanky will sum him up to a tee. One will always find him moving, swaying, always in motion, unless he is asleep or deeply depressed.
Based on Alon D'ar: Sundeep
By Swamp's Golden Light egg
More than one Candidate will want to get look. Maybe the braver, risking the wrath of the dam, will try to press their face against the egg, as if they can see through the forest that way. Others might take a different tact and sit way back, as if this will bring the scenery more into focus. Either way, chances are no one will see the forest for the trees, at least not until Hatching Day.
Brown Mahirth - Chretien
Sounds like Ma-hear-th.
Based on Alon D'ar: Tahir
Red Is For Danger Egg
But there's no denying it can be very pretty. This egg's red is splotched with black spots, falling into a neat pattern - almost mesmorising. Count them - how many are there? Perhaps there is a message there about what might lie inside. Perhaps another warning as black in itself can be a warning- the color of night, darkness, the unknown.
It's an egg though, so it shouldn't be scary. Right? Still, red is a warning. And so is black. Perhaps you should count from a distance.
Blue Banbuth - Zealeaya
Banbuth is a calculating blue. Every move he makes is well thought through and strategical. Eating? That can't possibly have any thought out strategy to it, right? But Banbuth makes it so in the way he methodically chooses the best piece of meat from the butchering yard (or later the best herdbeast when he can hunt on his on) and to the way he chews each bite. His baths are pre-planned as well. From the first moment of his bath until the last bit of his hide is oiled he will dictate the order, speed, and firmness with which he will be taken care of.
Based on Band of Bugs
Soft And Pink
It's thin enough for there to be a faint translucence about the pink shell. Not enough to see straight through it of course - any egg that delicate would have shattered in the laying - but when the sunlight shines on it in the right way it's possible to make out just where the dragonet inside is laying from the darker patches of shade.
It is warm and soft to the touch - but touch it gently! You don't want it break it.
Blue Kawashith - Greyed
What makes a dragon choose a lifemate? With some dragon's it's hard to tell - did an odd little nuance of personality pull them, or was it a case of opposites attracting? With others though, it's obvious, standing out clear as day. So it is with Kawashith. Whoever he chose as lifemate, it had to be someoone *smart*.
Based on Brain Training
Read the Legend
This Egg has places to go, and flags to stick in the map on the way. Some dragonets between, but whatever hatches out of this egg will want to scout, roaming wildly through the skies to learn the lay of the land before it shows its mastery over it. It says so right there on the egg, with recognizable continent shapes and the hint of weyr locations, enough that a rider might lean in for a look and find him or herself surprised to recognize some of the locations on its shell. Or at least, think they do.
Green Civiforth - Herina
Civiforth looks almost like the map that covered her egg. Oh, she doesn't really look like she's covered in a map complete with landmarks, but she does have a patchwork of greens that make up her hide and look like a fuzzy map if you have a bit of an imagination. On the small side from the moment she hatches, she'll never be large or even medium sized, but what she lacks in size she'll make up in speed and grace in the sky. She'll be able to dance in the air in a way few other dragons manage and this will make her a great asset when she fights Thread.
Based on Civ IV
Caged Blobs Egg
Green Tentath - Aaycyr
This dragonet has a strange gait, it's one of the first things you notice about her. She seems to bob from side to side. Of course, all dragons seem somewhat ungainly on the ground due to the fact that they are aerial creatures, but this still seems a different sort of wobble from the normal one of a hatchling dragon. She also tends to wobble with her wings out to the sides of her, as if she needs her wings spread to help her stay in balance. A large skullcap of solid light green covers Tentath's head and partway down her neck but the rest of her is a mixture of green splodges of varying shades. A gangly dragon, she'll never outgrow that shape and become more feminine, but it doesn't matter in the overall scheme of things.
Based on Day of the Tentacle
The Painted Trail Egg
Though it can't bite anyone it is still an unnerving egg. One almost expects whenever they look that teeth or claws might appear from nowhere to rend the unwary. All the blood seems to suggest it has attacked, or been attacked before. Does anyone wonder just how many'll want to find out just how dangerous this egg can be?
Green Sparath - Verga
Sparath appears black but under the sunlight her true colors become apparent. A dark pine covers her hide with several rings of moss around her eyes glimmering like they're covered in dew. Those colors set her apart from many greens, as does her sheer size. Her bulk of muscles made Sparath oversized , the size of a small blue. Even as a hatchling she was rather impressively sized.
Based on Devil May Cry
Caged Fire Egg
Brown Diaboth - Javin
Diaboth is an average sized brown. From the tip of his muzzle to the end of his tail there is nothing excessively large or small about him. In fact he's rather average looking except for his odd patterning of very dark brown coloring over his stomach, chest, and legs that gradually fades to a reddish brown by the time you hit the middle of his body and then lighter still by the time your eyes reach the top of his body and wings. Now is the change uniform but moves in waves so that it appears almost like his body is made of flickering flames of color.
Based on Diablo 2
Cluttered Patchwork Egg
Somehow, it was laid where it couldn't be overlooked. Perhaps Wendeth knew where this egg belonged when she laid it, but it catches either light or shadows just perfect to enhance the busy appearance. Even the unimaginative can believe there maybe some little workaholic inside just waiting to break out. Whether the sweeping golden horns which are centered upon the shell mean anything has remained open for debate, however.
Green Aegisath (ae-guy-ath) - Majne
What everyone first notices about Aegisath is how her patchwork hide blends together in various greens. It's not as much of an eyesore as many would assume. Her lime, fern and olive patches are eye-catching but unobtrusively sized. Each row of them has two colors giving her a uniform pattern. Fortunately the pattern does a little to draw the eyes away from her short stature When full-grown she'll never go beyond being a short green but her figure bulges with muscles rivaling those on larger greens. Can she stay airborne as long as they do? No. But few other greens her size can last longer or fly faster.
Based on Disgaea
Glistening Ice Egg
It glistens and it sparkles and it twinkles. And if you cock your head just so you're sure you can see some water running down the side. But then you touch it, at least half expecting that your warm fingers will stick to it but instead the surface will be smooth and dry and most importantly, it'll be warm.
Looks like it's not made from ice after all.
Green Shiveth - Dallan
Dragons don't sparkle, it's just not done. But there's something about Shiveth that just seems to be so... shiny. Maybe it's just all that egg goo that clings to this finely sculpted green as she rolls out of her shell.
Based on FF8 - Shiva
Sharp Shards of Light
No, the egg says that all are doomed, no matter what tale is told. But it could lead to a pretty ending. Each facet on this egg holds a different tale. Another adventure wherein heros and heroine are born but the colder blue gleams out promises of suffering yet to come. The rocky crevasses behind the blue inspire the imagination of those looking upon it until who knows which was real.
Brown Vnaath (vnawth) - Zhaimian
What colors are bright? Not browns. That honor was reserved for blues and greens, even some bronzes and golds. Someone mustn't have explained these facts to Vnaath. His hide's not the dark or dull shades associated with browns; instead a brilliant copper-brown gleams so bright on him that he's a shade short of being shiny. He claims he'd make a better bronze, but, from hatching onward, his size is medium, nowhere near what'd rival the smaller bronzes. That's a small problem, one he won't even consider were it pointed out to him. The vast sea of muscles apparent on him are spread evenly, letting him stay airborne as though he was larger.
Based on FFXII
Confidence of Heros
Brown Masiefth - Naithan
An average size dragon, Masiefth is a light colored brown with a dark head. The dark parts actually make him look like he has a helmet on, especially in contrast to his body being so uniform in color otherwise. He has slightly large wings but when he flies they only help him, for he is an extremely good flier. His larger wings will not make him fast, but will add to his stamina.
Based on Halo
Tombs of Time Egg
Hey! Whats that on the side? Bending closer and looking....No that couldn't be? But sure enough it looks like a little door! What in the name of Faranth would a little door be doing on an egg? Reaching out with a tentative hand, should you be allowed to touch the egg. You will find it is nothing more then an image. As you look closer, and your fingers caress the egg...it's almost as if you should be feeling woven cloth at the top of the egg. All in all this egg seems to be trying to tell you it's secrets if you could just decipher the writing and pictures that can be seen in it.
Green Tambrath - Kyraag
Born a bit gangly looking, this green will grow into a very refined dark emerald green when she reaches adulthood. Tambrath will have well toned muscles, and will swim and do what she can to keep those muscles or increase them. She will be of average size when she finishes growing, but more muscular than the average green. Once she makes it into a fighting wing, all will be amazed at how quickly and swiftly she moves about. Only her life mate won't be, for they will have worked hard to make sure that they worked to their utmost to better themselves and to keep their bodies in top shape. It is very important to Tambrath that she ALWAYS be in top form and her lifemate as well. Unfortunately not every lifemate will be equipped to keep up with her standards and this might cause some problems, at least until Tambrath comes to realize her lifemate's limitations.
Based on Lara Croft: Tomb Raider
Should Have Bought A Smaller Brush Egg
Green Chordath - Corinelia
Oh no! Someone took their eyes off Chordath for a moment - just for the barest second! - and now she's in trouble again.
Based on Lemmings
Fire Down Below
Surely such an egg would be hot to touchÖ.you can try if itís Momma allows you to, but then again, if you play with fire donít you get burnt?
Bronze Nevwith - Gagfar
Nevwith is going to be a large boy, but not the largest to be sure. He is very solid and all muscle almost from hatching and that wonít change as he matures. He is a very dark burnished bronze with lighter shading around his eyes, headknobs and wing tips that give him a bit of a distinguished look. He'll be a handsome bronze, but not to the point of standing out extraordinarily among a Weyrful of other handsome bronzes.
Based on Neverwinter Nights
Basket Caught Egg
The other main feature on the egg is a slight change in the pattern where the red weaving breaks into a round, black circle with a white cross in the middle. It gives the illusion of a latch that opens this egg. A brave Candidate or two might poke the middle hoping to reveal the precious cargo inside, but best do so out of eye sight of the ever watchful golden mother or they'll likely find themselves summarily dismissed from the Sands.
Green Shacath - Tanshin
Shacath will never be the biggest of greens, nor the smallest. She'll lurk just slightly shorter the average from the beginning and will stay that way. While some greens look unmistakeably feminine, this green will look more masculine, slightly heavier in build and sharper in features. She will be a medium colored green almost uniformly except for darker highlights that appear in almost a hat pattern around her headknobs and almost like a belt around her stomach.
Based on Pokemon
Gather Tent Egg
Green Roltycoth - Retragh
Such a sweet long, long, long green. Well she is. Sheís long. Long and lanky from the egg. It seems as if a hatchling as long as she is shouldnít fit in her egg. Sheís coiled tight though and when she uncoils itís easy to see that sheís longer than your average hatchling. Not by extremes of course but her thinness and shape somehow add to the illusion of length.
Based on Rollercoaster Tycoon
Mossy Stone and Shadows Egg
Bronze Aggroth - Rowenden
As his egg falls away, the first thing that people are going to think no doubt as Aggroth slowly stretches from his ruined shell will surely be along the lines of 'that's going to be a BIG dragon'. And it's true, something his rider will become more and more aware of as a big hatchling slowly but surely stretches in a huge, hulking mass of bronze dragon that will some day be giving the biggest dragons in the Weyr a run for their marks.
Based on Shadow of the Colussus
Blue Boxes of Mystery Egg
Green Belagoth - Elief
Belagoth is a multipatched colored green. Much like a quilt she is made of a patchwork of greens from the lightest green possible to the darkest green possible and everywhere in between. This pattern covers her body from the tip of her toes to the top of her headknobs and the farthest reaches of her wings. It's really a striking pattern and very unique. As for her size, she will be average sized and weight, neither too big, nor too small. In fact she will be rather average other than her coloring. She will have to work hard for candlemarks and candelmarks extra a day to gain any extra muscle and it will be nearly impossible to make herself gain any extra weight.
Based on Sims 2
Salt And Pepper Egg
Blue Sohegoth - Lexia
Sohegoth is a startling cerulean blue, almost uniformly so, except for the very tips of his headknobs which will be a very dark blue. This blue will able to fly at great speed but without quite so much agility as a green. He seems to be able to fly backwards too, but thatís something his rider will have to persuade him out of. His aerial acrobatics will still be something to behold though, fighting Thread will be a joy to him as he gets a chance to show his skill. Neither short nor long, heís in proportion to himself both lengthwise and wingspan-wise.
Based on Sonic the Hedgehog
Hypnotic Boot Egg
The swirling bits that grace this egg are almost hypnotic, arenít they? Stare at the whorls long enough and youíd swear they moved. They did, didnít they? They twisted just a little bit inwards on their way to completing the whirlpools. Whirlpools? Well, itís possible thatís what they represent, as possible as anything else.
And whatís with that green sock, or is it a boot? Does anyone, anywhere actually wear stuff ~that~ bright and gaudy? I sure hope not. Green having the reputation is has for being bad luck and all, anyone caught wearing a green that bright would really be testing their good fortune.
Blue Oiramith - Myceera
This hatchling isÖtiny. That wouldnít be so bad if he were a green, but heís not. Heís definitely a blue and a blue that barely meets the standard height of almost all newly hatched. Stretching a little he makes it, but not by much. Oiramith, has a rather impressive name for such a small blue. Heís not going to grow fast, nor will he grow large and heís going to be lucky he makes it to the size of a large green. For all that his length is at the very end of the scale, Oiramith is going to be a bit robust. Yes, a bit chubby. He wonít be fat though, oh no, itíll be all muscle on this short guy. So what if he has a short neck, a large head with a big muzzle, his eyes are big too and so are his hind and fore paws. He doesnít look disproportionate not to the point heíll be ridiculed or a laughingstock to his rider, but that doesnít make him any less striking with all his attributes.
Based on Super Mario Bros.
Translucent Beauty Egg
Wait! Wait look at that pictograph again....look very, very closely at that egg. Is that a dragon charging? Is that what the pictograph is...a dragon charging at the Thread falls to come? Maybe it is, maybe this hatchling will be a very strong fighter. At lass, only the egg knows its secret and the secret will be held until the day of hatching.
Blue Likashith - Mokuba
The little blue that comes out of this egg, is going to be of moderate size for a hatchling and grow into a lean but muscular blue. A deep cobalt blue with grace almost all of his body. He will have a lighter pale blue underbelly and on his left haunch you will find a small pale blue mark that looks just like the mark that had been on his egg. As he matures pale blue stripes begin to wrap around his forelegs and rear legs, adding intrigue to this handsome blue.
Based on The Legend of Zelda
Cartwheel Of Colours Egg
Blue Triputh - Direul
You could definitely call Triputh wedge-shaped. His body is wide at the back end, apart from his tail, and there is a distinct narrowing towards his muzzle which seems rather thin. His glossy navy hide seems almost unrelieved when he lays down, but a light underbelly streak makes a stark contrast when he is in the air. His headknobs seem pointed, as does his tail tip, and the overall impression is very much an angular one. This will make him a bit more streamlined in the air, but he'll still never be able to make a full Threadfall without resting.
Based on Trivial Pursuit
Oh, huh. What was I doing? What do you mean it's 2 am?
Green Pownith - Joli
Pownith will be a dark, forest colored green dragon with light blotches here and there as if light is shining through trees. A rather large green, she won't quite rival a small blue, but she'll definitely be of decent size. Pownith will be a muscular green, though surprisingly agile at the same time, though she will seriously lack in stamina.
Based on WoW
Rukbat's Cloud Egg
That leaves the question, just what color will come from such an egg and will he or she be able to fulfill the dreams of the candidates that touch it's shell in longing.
Green Yarventh - Saika
Bursting from her shell this light peridot green looks ready to take on the world and what ever else the universe might have to throw at her. From the beginning this compact green gives the impression of being much smaller then she really is. Perhaps it is the odd glossier appearance of her wingsails, to the dark apple green that starts at the tip of her muzzle, flows up over her eye ridges and end at the tips of her headknobs.
