GoldenstarGuardians Clutch - Sidekicks
Hatching December 16th, 2006
Pern date 8.15.01.07
Crimson Curiosity Egg
Maybe the mystery should stay locked up, or hidden away and is best left well enough alone.
Many Candidates might decide to heed the warning only to dig through the Egg's secrets again the next time they visit.
Green Kloeyth - Wrytee
Kloeyth will be a small compact pale green with particularly expressive eyes who has, even from the moment of Hatching an irrepressible sense of energy and curiosity. She will be physically attractive to other dragons but will be relatively clueless to this fact. On the other hand, she will have a pretty annoying habit of obsessing over a particular dragon she likes who she is sure just hasn't noticed her yet. She will be particularly prone to wanting the unobtainable and this will cause her to sulk until she finds a new interest.
Based on Chloe - Smallville
Please Don't Look At Me Egg
But even in the deepest dark, hope must exist somewhere. Those who persist with this Egg, rather than hurrying on to a prettier egg that seems more cheerful, may notice something hidden in the shell. It's hard to see, but it *is* there, a few splashes of yellow like flowers struggling valiantly to grow even in this dark cage.
It's a struggle to do so, and it's unsurprising that these flower-like splotches seem almost too faded to make out - every little flower needs light. Nevertheless, they keep trying, and the dragon inside the Egg will keep growing, no matter how dark its shell. Come Hatching Day, it's determined to escape, just like everybody else.
Blue Dollanth - Cl'rin
Dollanth was Hatched to live his life out in the sunshine. He won't like even being shut up inside the Barracks or his weyr for long. Quiet little dragon that he is, he'll try not to complain about it too much if they have to stay inside, but sometimes he can't *help* but plead ((Can we go outside yet? It's so dark and musty inside!))
Based on Cory - Flowers in the Attic
You lookin' at me?
It's not a giant eyeball of course. It's an egg, a simple, plain egg that's nice and... make it stop looking at me like that! It *can't* be swivelling to follow you about, you know it can't, but you may not feel as certain if you pluck up the courage to actually get a little bit closer to this egg. Are those little squeaks that seem to be coming from inside? It was just the wind, that's it, just the wind...
Blue Zingsnith - Shevana
Rather gaunt looking from the start, throughout his WeyrlingHood and well into adulthood, Zingsnith will perpetually be worrying the DragonHealers that he's too thin for all that he can eat more than should really be possible for a blue his size. He won't be the biggest of blues but he has a long length that only seems to enhance his bony looking appearence.
Based on Death Of Rats - Discworld
Glowing Orbs Egg
Except you can't. It's small and inviting and exciting, and there's a dragonet inside that's hopefully better than the bright, bright egg. Faranth knows few people want to end up with a dragon that pops out of their egg already keyed up like they've been given _way_ too much klah.
Green Dnaith - Riki
Sometimes, a Dragonet makes an impressive entrance into the world, breaking their shell to shards or shattering through the side with feet and tail and head. Dnaith will somehow get it all wrong, and end up with an eggshell hat. She's impressively unself-conscious, and through every goofy strange stumble in her life, she'll play it as if it had been part of the plan all along, as if, of course, she'd meant to do that and isn't it hilarious, pet me, pet me, I want a snack.
Based on Greg - CSI
Bright and Breezy Egg
When Candidates touch this egg, they are likely to smile, to chuckle and feel like they have just spent the time chatting with an old friend, telling stories of scrapes and ridiculous encounters they have shared together. It's hard not to like this egg and if it is anything to go by, the dragonet inside will be a powerhouse of personality. After all, who wouldn't like a friend who can appear so ordinary and yet be so fun to be around?
Blue Ioaluth - Sessni
Ioaluth is a compact small blue that will always seem to have a sense of untiring good humour about him. He's also a little powerhouse of energy, something totally out of proportion to his size. He'll always try and keep up with the browns and bronzes and amazingly he'll struggle until he finds ways to do it using his natural talents. Nothing better than determination to practice and fly more than the larger dragons to help make up some of the gap, even if he won't be capable of quite matching the browns and bronzes in stamina or sheer power. That won't stop him from trying though, and pressing himself even further with every try. His lifemate will have to make extra, extra sure that he doesn't do anything to overextend himself both during Weyrling training and after graduation.
Based on Ioalus - Hercules
More than one person will long to take a belt knife and slice away at the net surrounding this egg just so they can get to whatever promise is held within. Of course they’d be sorely disappointed. That isn’t a net at all but rather an intricate design, all part of the egg shell on this very splendiferous sight.
Just suppose they could get to what lay beneath, what would they find? Bright pink, surrounded by blues, but just what crazy sort of mixed up egg is this? Wacky beyond understanding it’s just fun to look at and that’s what lots and lots of people will be doing. Staking it out as worthy of their attention. Of course, its not so subtle flamboyant nature wouldn’t allow it to go unnoticed, not a chance.
Green Selyath - Taren
Every person has to have a hobby right? Well apparently some dragons think they have to have a hobby too. Selyath is one of those dragons, or at least she would be if she knew what a 'hobby' really was. Unfortunately she doesn't know what that hobby should be. One day she'll insist she never wants to do anything in life other than swim and she will refuse to do anything else she may be required to do and then throw a fit when she's given no choice but to stop. The next day the fight will start over again as she swears all she wants to do is sleep. The next day she'll want to follow her Lifemate around wherever they go, which will be cute when she's a young Weyrling, but will be less cute once she's full grown. Sometimes she'll even change her mind as to her day's ambition in the space of a few ticks. She'll be known to be in the middle of a bath and suddenly decide she wants to eat or do something equally messy and nothing her Lifemate says will convince her to wait.
Based on Jack - Will & Grace
Gleaming Virtue Egg
And maybe it's a better idea to not touch the Gleaming Virtue Egg afterall.
Green Jeveeth - Renda
Sometimes the rider isn’t driving the car, and sometimes, *sometimes*, the rider isn't even in the car until it's been cleaned, gassed up, repaired, had a change of tires and a full transmission work over. And then they still get into the back seat. And it's so *easy* to do that when you have someone who'll do it all for you, who'll do everything.
Based on Jeeves - Wooster and Jeeves
Such a Pretty Blue Egg
People will long to go back to thinking, ‘Pretty blue egg.’ But it’s just one of those things. Once it gets into your mind it’s hard to erase. This egg is looking at you and you can’t escape its watchfulness no matter where you try to stand. You can't stop seeing their eerie stare no matter how hard you try, nor how hard you wish. Even if you hide behind another person as soon as you peek over their shoulder you’ll see its ever present gaze. Not just one eye settles upon you but eerily several at once, staring at you with accusations, horror, or Faranth knows what. You might even think some of those creepy eyes are somehow turning to pierce you with their penetrating stares.
Some might find this egg compelling as it keeps it’s eyes on them. They might look about at the other eggs but find their own gaze glancing back to this strange egg more than once. Others will leave the hatching sands trying to shake off the paranoia that they’re being followed by the egg’s malevolent and knowing look. During the night a few might even have nightmares brought about this egg, but hey, isn’t it such a pretty blue?
Bronze Awsonth - Takoda
From an eggshell covered in hundreds of eyes will emerge a bronze hatchling, surprising many. Some may even have expected a deformed hatchling covered in those same unnerving eyes to appear and the relief will be great when this rather large hatchling with the normal two eyes breaks free.
Based on Joe Dawson - Highlander
Faces Of The Lost Egg
Deep in the green of the egg there are splodges and blotches. Stare harder, and the blotches move together to form faces. Stare harder still, ignoring the sand and the wind, and the faces begin to seem more and more familiar. Perhaps one vaguely reminds you of your old granny who died when you were three, or of the little girl who drowned in the river back at your Hold. Perhaps one looks like your dragonrider father, killed in Thread, or your mother who died in the famine. So many possible faces, and whether seeing those faces on the egg's facade is a good thing or not is up to you.
Eyes play tricks on you, and the human mind is always desperate to see patterns. It takes only a whisper going around that you can see such things in an egg like this, and many more people will be convincing themselves that it's real.
Brown Duboith - Syrill
It takes a lot to make Duboith visibly angry about something. Usually when annoyed, the brown tries to stay calm instead, taking to dry comments and sarcasm rather than actually losing his temper. He *can* lose his temper, but it takes a lot - usually something like his rider putting himself in harm's way - to trigger it.
Based on Joe DuBois - Medium
Strange Malevolence Egg
Brown Joconeth - Kirtahg
How is it some hatchlings can emerge and appear sweet and happy, others a bit dazed and confused, while still others seem to have everything altogether and they know what they’re about right from the start? Joconeth isn’t any of those. This dark brown hatchling emerges from his shell suspicious and wary of all that’s going on.
Based on John Conner - Terminator 2
Cloaked Goblet Egg
This egg will attract many, and will cause more than one person to lick their lips as they suddenly feel parched. Ah, to drink from that glorious goblet with its mysterious contents, is that a greenish bauble on top of white froth? No. Who would stick anything green upon the delicious beverage within? It’s easy to dismiss the unsightly little mystery blob because it’s much easier to simply enjoy letting the imagination concoct some wondrous wine, or perhaps potent ale from which to sip.
For those who can look past their thirst, they might find a metalsmith’s heart within. What metalsmith doesn’t long to be commissioned to create such a fine golden goblet? Something this magnificent would bring instant fame to the crafter’s name. So while this wondrous egg teases the imagination with its strange opulence, it causes one to also imagine a rather elegant hatchling within.
Green Kawaleth - Talyai
Some dragons are quiet and unobtrusive. Some dragons are loud, obnoxious, and rude. Kawaleth is the former, or at least she is (most of the time) when she is sleeping. When she hatches she will slowly start chipping away at her shell until finally she loses patience and bursts forth out of her egg and starts jabbering away to anyone who will listen her emotionless comments about how pathetic the other hatchling dragons and their Lifemates are. After all none of the other hatchling dragons got to Impress _her_ Lifemate and she'll remark that they don't get to be fed and oiled the same way. And those shinies and toys that Kawaleth threw a temper tantrum to get? None of the other dragons had those either, and shards if she was going to share them.
Based on Karen - Will & Grace
The Murk Ready Egg
Green Hornith - Lalina
Someone's in the driver's seat, and it's not you. In formation, Hornith will ignore your commands if her idea is better. In day to day life, Hornith will be obedient, helpful, friendly, and all around a perfect dragon, except and right up until there's a moment of decisiveness. Threadfall will bring out the worst of it in Hornith, that hidden personality where she suddenly becomes another dragon and while you have one idea on how to fly or react, she has another.
Based on Kato - Green Hornet
Whimsical Garden Egg
Will everyone be touched so by this amazingly delicate and feminine egg, of course not. You’ll get your crèche boys out there carefully avoiding the frilliness of it all. Those tough little bullies being brought up among their peers in a world of manly dragonriders, learning to shun girly things will steer clear of even looking at it too long. That’s a sissy’s egg to be sure and only potential boy lovers will fawn over it, that’s for sure.
You’ll hear this egg marked as a green’s from the get go, but wouldn’t it be funny to see a bronze hatch from this girly egg?
Green Kayleeth - Unytel
From the Whimsical Garden Egg will emerge a very pretty green and if you were asked what shade of green she is the answer you’d come up with is -- a million shades of green. She’s really that diverse and in a good way. Few will look at her and think eye sore. In fact, you'll wonder what harper tale she emerged from. She’ll have such intricate patterns on her hide that you could stare at her for many a candlemark and still be fascinated.
Based on Kaylee - Firefly
Serious Chaos Egg
But someone, somewhere, somehow has screwed up the rich cloth. Rather that lying flat as it should, the colour whirls wildly over the surface, almost dizzying to look at, sprinkled generously with lighter golden nuggets.
On another Egg perhaps, this colour *would* be serious, but on this one? No. Any serious image it was trying to pull off is too quickly lost in the chaos. And really it's such a shame, if the fleck of gold and orange cloth had just been handled properly the robe might have made its tailor a lot of marks and adorned a Lord Holder on a solemn occasion. Now the cloth and gold bits just lie their in a corner all forlorn...oh wait...
It's just an egg. It seems that the person who might have made this mess of cloth gets a reprieve and instead all that is left is a gorgeous and unique egg that will draw the eye of those people who can appreciate the 'imperfections' in this shell.
Brown Oidonth - Apollymi
Oidonth was hatched with hide that seems to be a size too big. He's a small brown, and the hide seems to wrinkle over his body loosely rather than falling loosely as it should. This causes a particularly odd effect around his head where it crickles around his mouth and eyes before unexpectedly becoming smooth and shiny at the top of his skull. It's hard for a dragon to smile without looking frightening, but the way the wrinkles fall make Oidonth *look* as if he's smiling, and the look in his whirling eyes usually backs that up. The fact that those crinkles bring to mind the phrase "So ugly he's cute" will help make up for some of those odd looks, even if Oidonth may not appreciate them.
Based on Lu-Tze - Discworld
Look out! Here comes the.. fuzzy feline?
Of course, you'll hear nothing of the sort no matter how you might try and that fuzz isn't there, the shell is strong and deceptively smooth for all it's dramatic bravado. It makes you wonder though and you won't be able to tear your eyes away as you watch the fuzz seemingly shift in the breeze even though you *know* it's not really there. Can eyes play tricks on the mind? It certainly looks like it.
Green Emjaith - Chavark
A sweet, svelte looking green, Emjaith is certainly something of a looker, her hide a gorgeous shade of lush grassy green, like a meadow in the height of summer. It's a lovely shade, it really is, and will be even more glossy looking after the oiling she will demand on a highly regular basis. From day one this is a green who knows how good she looks.
Based on Mary-Jane Watson - Spiderman
Furry Notes Egg
The egg is soft to the feel and appears to ruffle under your touch. As your hand runs over the black and white strips you think you here a faint tune ring in your ears. Perhaps you did, perhaps it was the real tune of the hatchling inside.
Blue Miketh - Leaf
This creamy blue dragon has quite a light hide with a tail that darkens towards it's tip. He is on the leaner side, but won't lack for lithe muscles. His wings will be large and lend him a bit of grace that blues don't always get. Or at least he will appear graceful once he stops tripping over them.
Based on Mike - Friends
Dark Dirty Bubbles Egg
Green Elweth - Melia (Meh-lee-ah)
Drinking problems? You don't say. Elweth is a great dragon to get drunk, or to share thoughts with when you inevitably get drunk. She'll have an innate sense of understanding the point of drowning sorrows in a drink. Afterall, it's all about memory -- if you can't remember what went wrong, then you can't feel bad, and life is too too fecking short to be feeling bad forever. Better to forget the horrible things that have happened and then move on with your life. It's not like you, her rider, is cursed with a horrible string of doom and bad luck.
Based on Moonglum - Elric
Still As A Statue Egg
Unlike the other eggs, it never rocks, never shifts or rolls at all. It sits perfectly still on the Sands, never giving any sign at all that a living being is inside.
Still, the gold says there is, and she would *know*, wouldn't she? She would be able to tell if someone had somehow sneaked a huge egg-shaped stone onto her Sands?
Blue Sunmuth - Baterry
Sunmuth has rather a sweet little face. His headknobs are tilted oddly making them stick out to the sides of his light blue head. Combine that with a pointed little jaw and you have a dragon that for some reason seems *very* pettable and innocent. His light blue head attaches to a light blue neck, chest, and front legs. Then very abruptly a much darker blue appeared to cover the rest of his small body including his wings and most of his stomach.
Based on Mr. Tumnus - Narnia
Mottled Fur Egg
The egg feels friendly to the touch and eager to please. Could it be your egg: your hatchling inside? The egg certainly feels like it is willing to try. How many candidates must also have felt the pull of this egg? If only it could find the right master.
Green Mutluth - Belivlei
This dark coloured green has a fantastic appreciation of humour. Very little can bring her down and she can see something to laugh at in even the direst or most boring situation. Sometimes, however, this can be taken to an extreme when her rider decides to get tough with her - she is prone to seeing the funny side even when she should be concentrating on what she is learning. Her rider will have to learn to ensure that she listens if they are ever to graduate.
Based on Mutley - Dastardly and Mutley
Worried Little Egg
It trembles and shakes very early in its development, this one, an almost constant fidget - and perhaps *that* is what makes it so worrying. When something, even an Egg, seems so nervous, it's hard not to catch the feeling. Perhaps it's just shy of the Candidates coming over the sands towards it, but there seems to be something else there - almost guilt. As if there was something it knows it was meant to do... but it just can't recall what?
But that's nonsense of course. What sort of responsibilities could an egg have? It's not as though the last one to be laid has to remember to turn the lights off and lock the door before it leaves the inside of its mother. Don't worry so much, little Egg. As long as you remember to Hatch on time, you'll do just fine.
Blue Lonboth - Atri
Dragon's memories are said to be bad, but Lonboth's is worse than most. Sometimes it seems he can barely hold what he's been told in his head for half a lesson before stumbling and forgetting it - and asking him to remember anything for longer than that is a hopeless task. It'll be gone and he'll look guilty and unhappy, knowing it might have been important and yet unable to grasp it again.
Based on Neville - HP
The Open Skies Egg
Nobody finds any explanation beyond severe stubborn-born stamina that refuses the inevitable conclusion. It never requests help, though everyone knows eggs cannot communicate. The enthusiasm amid said egg continues unabated, perhaps it has confidence that someone might someday understand what's needed.
Blue Owkobith - Yeha
Owkobith has vibrant blue hide, it stands out amongst every possible location he finds himself. Sunlit waters seem dark and clear skies become dull during his presense. When hatched he barely reaches minimum-size. He does grow faster every month but never will be larger than average once full-grown. Enough muscle exists to make this figure whipcord slender, capable for incredible feats of agility and speed. However, his common distractable nature when young leaves him often running into things.
Based on Obi-Wan - Pre-TPM Star Wars
If you could only stare at it for long enough, it seems certain that you could work it out. Perhaps then the secrets of the Universe would be revealed to you - or at least the colour of the dragon inside.
Bronze Hegemoth - Laiket
Hegemoth doesn't just *think* he's the brightest dragon on Pern. He is certain of it, with the same certainty he has that grass comes out of the ground, and the sky is above him.
Based on Peter - Ender's Game
Eager Ringing Circles Egg
Blue Turith - Zazperyn
Turith from the get-go wants to soar.
Based on Robin - Batman
How do you like your spuds?
It's lumpy and it's bumpy and you just want to reach out and.. touch it. But... I wouldn't, really I wouldn't. It sits in its corner seeming to watch everyone, quietly taking things in to give back when it's ready and in it's own good time. There's something about this egg that seems as stoic and endless as the land. Candidates will want to talk to it, let out all their grief’s just because they know that somehow, this funny looking egg is actually listening.
Brown Gamgeth - Mashu
Short and stout and possibly a little fat. Those are going to be the first things that spring to mind from the very second Gamgeth tumbles out of his egg. But don't let that put you off, there's something endearing and very adorable about this little guy from his snout all the way to the tip of his tail.
Based on Samwise Gamgee - LOTR
Touch Me Egg
Sometimes, just as a Candidate reaches to touch it, it will twitch, as though sensitive or ticklish. Sometimes it almost seems as though the dragon within might cry out in protest, and complain that you're being too *rough*.
Other Candidates, however, may get quite the opposite reaction. Those the Egg seems to favour it leans towards a little, shifting on the Sands to do so. It's only a tiny movement, but perhaps enough to encourage those so honoured into more touching. In the last days before Hatching, those with particularly hearing may even think they can hear the dragon snuffling contentedly inside - although that could be their imaginations.
Brown Sergeth - Ryotis
Some dragons are just Hatched suspicious. From the moment he rolled out of the Egg, Sergeth knew that there was more going on out there than people would have you know, and it's up to him to find out what it is and give it a shardin' good kicking. It's him and his lifemate against the world and it's hard to tell who's winning.
Based on Shadwell - Good Omens
Thieves Challenge Egg
Still isn't that the Challenge? Risking everything for the treasure inside? The Thieves Challenge Egg provides that opportunity for everyone - but only one daring Candidate will claim the precious treasure inside.
Blue Kheldarth - Laryn
Kheldarth will be a small blue - his muzzle a little elongated in proportion to his size and he will be a little self conscious of that as he grows older but in reality it isn't anything disfiguring just something a little different. He is a deep cornflower sapphire in colour and will always be whipcord lean no matter how much he eats and unusually agile.
Based on Silk - Prince Kheldar, The Belgariad
Mist Over the Moons Egg
More than one person will point and say, ‘I remember walking on that part of the Rim.’ Others will check the night sky after viewing this egg and hoped to see such nocturnal beauty. It’s not often that a mist forms over the moons, wispy clouds whirling up in the sky painted with tiny diamonds of twinkling stars. This is a true romantic’s egg, one that you’ll find lovers gazing at together as they dream of a night under the stars. While other lovers will smile knowingly at each other for the memories they’ve created already beneath the soft moonlight, love trysts revisited.
Blue Nacluveth - Kaelye
How can a hatchling be so methodical about getting out of his shell? This medium-sized baby-blue colored hatchling does just that. First there’s a little poke in the top, then another and another until a well placed nudge pops out a circular, pre-poked, piece of shell large enough for Nacluveth to slowly raise his head, muzzle first and carefully look out upon the world.
Based on Spock - Star Trek
Golden Mimic Egg
While there might not be a true gold egg in the clutch, there is this egg which seems to mock the thoughts of those wishing it were golden. Looking closely you can almost make out a face within this egg. There are dark empty hollow sockets for eyes, or is that a strange lens of a pair of shaded spectacles? Whatever it might be, its clearl there is a nose outlined and lips strangely light on this dark mix of golds.
Once you can discern that face it’s easy to speculated that it’s not a happy expression, but rather stern and accusatory. Whatever color hatchling slumbers within this egg almost seems to demand that you accept it for what it is and not what you wished for it to be.
Green Trinteth - Tanalei
With a few well-placed kicks this average size, wiry green hatchling will free herself from her shell. She comes out kicking and she doesn’t stop there. Trinteth loves to move and will scarcely stop. She has moves in her you wouldn’t think possible but there she goes running and jumping on that rock and somersaulting backwards. It wasn’t ~really~ flying so she can’t get in trouble, right? Of course she does get in trouble when she reveals that she likes to settle things with those kicks and moves of hers rather than discussing the matter. Why hash things out when you can simply take care of things with a few ingenious moves to shut someone up?
Based on Trinity - Matrix
Strung out Contemplation Egg
That's the impression the Strung Out Contemplation egg is giving you. It, annoyingly, knows what's best when it comes to common sense. It's thinking and sitting there in the corner watching every stupid thing you do, shaking its head.
Green Baskrith - Sabhbh
Like Egg, like Dragonet, sometimes and definitely so in this case. Baskrith knows best, really knows best. She won't speak up when she'd be wrong, but when she's right, oh, she'll grind it in with her tail at the person who thought that she could POSSIBLY be wrong. It's not an over melodramatic 'Don't you understand my GENIUS?!' overbearing intelligence, but the kind of self assuredness that jumps up and hits you when you're already down. It's like getting smacked on the head after you fall down the stairs, and being told you should've turned the light on, and you're always doing that, what's wrong with you?
Based on Watson - Sherlock Holmes
Weaver's Delight Egg
The Weaver's delight Egg is comfortable but as complicated as the patterns all over its shell, and a gentle soothing presence seems to surround it. Those who touch this egg will feel reassured and calmed in a way that they can't explain and will be grateful for in the long run.
Brown Jsonneth - Sanvic
Jsonneth is a dark brown of medium size who has some of the best traits of a brown dragon. He's strong, he's reliable, he's intelligent and even from the egg he will be worried and concerned about others. He also is a great conversationalist and can give as good as he gets and match anyone quip for quip.
Based on Wilson - House
The Age of Technology Egg
Maybe it's its size that makes it seem impossibly real, the size, so much larger than its clutchmates eggs that suggests that maybe, just maybe there's something a little more special than usual about this egg. This egg seems to glow with a tantalizingly warm light, that of some internal source penetrating outward. There can be little doubt that every girl's hopes will be astir with the earnest hope that curled up inside is a golden girl just waiting to come out and impress that special someone.
Go ahead and gaze upon this egg, let your mind wander over the tiny diamond shapes mingled with the larger more prominent diamonds with much sharper edges. Are those really rectangles cut precisely and laid out in some amazing pattern for all to let their minds toy with? Could that over there on the arc near the bottom of the shell be a gamer’s chess board? No, most certainly not. A checker’s board then? Preposterous! The sheer grandeur of this egg speaks of no such simple games but rather something much more special, some intricate puzzle to be solved by those spending countless spare moments detailing it beauty in their rudimentary sketches, and even skill fingers, it won’t matter. Both amateur and professional- apprentice and master, will only be able to scratch the surface of the mysteries within this egg. Some new and wondrous game of imagination will be forged to match this shell’s cry for contemplation. No simple game of guessing at all and no wonder, it holds the ultimate prize.
Yes, it could be a ruse, it could be for real, but it could be only be a gold. But what kind of gold will it be and who will Impress her? Only Hatching Day will tell.
Gold Delilath - Jayden
No matter the shape, a Queen on every level is a sight to behold, a prized asset in every clutch. And Delilath is no different. From the moment she breaks her shell to the day she flies in the Queen's wing for the very first time she will exude a strong, silent strength and prove from the get go that she can hold her own. A good sized Queen neither too big or too small, Delilath will be what can be best termed as a 'good' size with a pretty head and large wings attached to a nicely rounded body.
Based on Z - Lilah - CAD
The Unusually Poetic Egg
A crystalline coronet has been casually cast across this egg, clearly crowning its chaste curves. Perhaps a child plays within, trying a head-dress at different angles to see which looks best.
Demanding darkness that draws the eye into the depths of this egg demonstrate a dreamy drifting dustiness reminiscent of dawn or dusk. Glistening gracefully, gleaming gloriously, the gentle gilt glass surface glows in the golden light of the sun. A lattice of lunar light lasts as a languid lustre through the night. Its magical mystic marbled mirrored surface mellows magnificently in the moonlight, mild melodies mingled with a touch until morning breaks the spell.
A perfect pastel pallor prances proudly across the polished shell. A prickly pretence of a princess, petulant pouting and petite portrayed through the presence inside. Radiant reds reflected and refracted through the shell reveal a regal rain of colour: regular resonant ripples enticing a rare rapture from the candidates on the sands. A soft serene silken surface, its sheen spotlessly shimmering in the sunshine, adorns the smooth symmetrical shell. To touch it is secretly sensitive: sultry storms slipping away; silvered stardust wishes shifting silently; simple spattering smudges on the soul.
A thrumming throbbing tingle toys with hands touching the untarnished texture of the egg, tender, thrilling and intense, teasing and taunting the candidate, with a tousled tundra of twisting colours covering the tip of the shell. Wreathed in watery waves of warmth, a wraith like wonder waits within the shell, whispering and warbling welcomingly.
Who could doubt that a shiny egg like this has wonder inside? It proudly announces itself in so many ways to the watcher, providing such a brisk sense of what it contains. Perhaps it will let you in on its secrets come hatching day.
Gold Myrandith - Tyne
Stately in her appearance and bearing, no-one could mistake the colour of this little hatching. A pale gold face is accentuated by her perfectly proportioned and delicately shaped features. Her head knobs in contrast, are a burnished gold with red hints appearing to crown her perfect gold face. The burnished red gold theme continues down the spine of her back and round her tail as if a fine narrow regal train has been draped along her. Her wings are a beautiful mid gold, and when she stretches them out you can see the shimmer in the colour tone. The rest of her back blends from the mid gold to the reddish gold down her spine, and her under body is the palest gold imaginable. Her diverse blend of gold hues accentuates the feminine shape.
