Character type: Crafter
Appearance: Tsia stands at around 5'4" and looks to weigh approximately 125 lbs. Tsia has long curly dark brown hair that flows down to end around mid-back level. Her eyebrows are dark brown, thin, and well shaped, showing that she takes immaculate care of her appearance. She has long dark brown eyelash that accentuate her feminine looks. Her eyes are a dark lazurite blue that reflect her cunning and determination. Her nose is of medium size and plain, if slightly upturned. Her lips are of medium thickness and are a light rosy pink in color, adding to her looks even more. Her high cheekbones give her an exotic look, and her face would have been flawless except for a small silvery-white scar that mars her left cheek. Her medium length arms are well shaped and graceful, though toned with a bit of muscle. Her fingers are of medium length and relatively smooth, though there is a slight hint of callouses on her fingertips. Her breasts are of medium size, enough to attract attention, but not large enough to cause people to stare. Her waist is thin and shapely, showing her build to be more on the slim side. Her legs are long and graceful, though it is obvious that she has a fair amount of muscle, though not enough to make her look ungainly. Just enough to show that she obviously works out. Upon the ankle above her left foot is a small scar, most likely where she got nicked by a rock when swimming. Her feet are about a size eight and are completely smooth, as if swimming in the water prevents her front getting callouses. Her feet have several small scars though, showing swimming isn't easy and that her feet seem to get cut up fairly often.
Personality: Tsia has a deep respect for nature and for wildlife. She has seen many things during her time as a dolphineer and she has weathered many tropical storms. Tsia is happiest when she's in the water doing her job. Her father sometimes jokes she should have been born a fish instead of a human because of the many hours she spends swimming. She is very friendly and likes to talk to others and share her experiences with them. She's an equally good listener however, and she's not above listening to other people's problems. In fact she often makes a good confidant, especially since she doesn't give away the secrets of other people. She is a very opportunistic person and seems to know when its time to talk or when its best to keep her mouth shut. Tsia has a talent for working with animals, any animals not just dolphins, although she gets along with them best. She has a very close bond with her dolphin Aisu, in fact they're almost as close as a dragon and rider, the only difference being the bond isn't mental. Tsia has the same curiosity as a dolphin and is always willing to learn more, often questioning people to gain knowledge. She knows of the dolphins favorite game, which is usually question and answer. She finds it to be effective when used on people, often gaining a good amount of information. In the water she confident, sure of herself, and knowledgeable. Out of the water she's a little more insecure and socially inept. She tends to hold herself to higher expectations that most people would, and she can get a bit upset if she doesn't live up to her own expectations. Nothing can get her down for long however, especially since she has Aisu at her side. She's a very responsible person who puts the needs of other before her own usually, and as a point she can usually be relied on by her friends. She and Aisu play an important role in warning seacrafters of coming bad weather, though its Aisu who plays the main role in that. Tsia is very quick witted and enjoys a good argument, though not all the time. She talks rather like a dolphin in short sentences, having spent a bit too much time around them. Overall she's a friendly young woman who is dedicated to her work.
History: Tsia was born in Alonel hold along with her two brothers Raden and Saxil. Her mother Ysiana was a Journeyman Harper and her father Hijanu was a Seacrafter. Since her father was a Seacrafter she often was down at the docks, watching her father bring his small fishing ship in with loads of fish. She learned to swim at an early age and she was found to be a natural at it. Soon she became skilled enough that she would stay in the water for several hours and she even found that she could hold her breath for almost two minutes. On her birthday she was given a set of googles, perfected so that she could actually see underwater. It opened up a whole new world for her and she would swim around exploring coral reefs. Then one day when she was underwater diving, there was an underwater earthquake and a small boulder rolled down the reef and she found herself pinned underwater with her foot stuck between a boulder and sharp coral. She was running out of air and was close to blacking out when a sleek grey figure shot straight for her and hit the boulder head on, knocking it off of her foot.
Information about Tsia's pets
Pet Name: Edge
Pet Type: Brown Firelizard
Appearance: This medium sized brown firelizard is very sturdy. He is perfectly proportioned and well balanced on every part of his body. His hide is very dark, almost like klah that has been left to steep for hours. The klah brown on his eyeridges darkens just a bit, giving him a rather accented look. Dark traces of an ever deeper klah brown can be seen across his sturdy broad wings. His hide seems to darken even more when he sits in the shade and a dizzying pattern of klah brown can be seen across his neck ridges, drawing attention to them. At the end of each of his feet a set of sharp, slightly curved, hard klah brown talons can be seen. His eyes whirl with a playful intelligence and occasionaly with a bit of mischief. His long sinuous tail is a bit thick at the base, although not overly so. Light flecks of a muddy brown color can be seen upon his sides and it then blends in well with the darker colors. This firelizard seems to be in prime condition and his hide seems to gleem with good health.
Personality: Edge is an intelligent brown flit who is very well trained. He can carry messages, retrieve small objects, and he can project incredibly clear mind images. He's one of those few firelizards who doesn't tend to cause trouble and who takes his duties very seriously. He's protective of his pet, and will often hiss warningly if he senses any threat to her. Most of the time though he's calm and it takes a lot to get him riled up. Like his pet he enjoys swimming, using his wings to propel him underwater just like he does to propel himself through the air. He sometimes rides on Aisu's back, using his wings for balance. He also likes fishing for small fish like fingertails, skimming over the water or even diving for a short period of time in order to catch his intended prey. Edge hates wherries like a lot of gold dragons hate firelizards. He will hunt down a nest of wherry eggs and will destroy them. He makes himself useful during threadfall as well, burrowing after thread if it manages to hit the ground. In the air, on the ground, or in the water Edge seems perfectly adapated to either. Overall he's an intelligent an obedient flit who makes himself very useful.
Second Pet Name: Aisu
Pet Type: Dolphin
Appearance: Aisu is a bottlenose type dolphin and looks to be as such. She has reached her full length and is about ten feet in length. She's long but rather thin, making her sleek and graceful. She has a medium-length snout that seems almost white at the tip before turning a slate gray further down her muzzle. Near the base of her muzzle the slate gray darkens to near black in color. Then the color lightens to a slate gray color again upon her forehead. Her intelligent black eyes are set far apart, giving her a wider range of vision. The top of her head is a dark charcoal in color, before fading to a slate gray color once again. The bottom of her chin is a pale white in color, that spread out to encompass her entire underside all the way to just before her tail. Her sides are a sleek slate gray in color, marred only by a silver-white scar across her left side. Her dorsal fin is a dark gray in color, almost to the point where it looks black. Her two frontal find used for swimming are also a dark gray in color, with a hint of a dark charcoal gray further along both broad flat fins. Her back is a light gray in color, untouched by a single blemish or scar. Last but not least is her broad forked tail which is a light gray in color and helps to propel her through the water.
Personality: Aisu is rather intelligent for a dolphin, though her speech is no more articulate than that of a callamere wher. She's a very friendly dolphin who is usually willing to help out those in need. That is in fact how she met her dolphineer Tsia. She likes to be useful and so she does everything that is asked of her without complaint. She enjoys doing what she does, whether helping to drive fish into nets or to warn Seacrafters of storms, this is one dolphin that's ready to do whatever it takes if it means she helps out in some small way. Like Edge, she likes to eat fish, mostly schools of yellowtail. Sometimes her dolphineer will give her some of the fish caprtured in the nets as a special treat. Aisu is rather skilled at predicting the weather, especially sensing when storms are coming. Many listen to her when she gives warning for a storm because 9 times out of 10 she's right about that sort of thing. She's very dedicated to her job, but also to her dolphineer. She gets along great with Tsia and they rarely argue. She's very sensitive to the feelings of her dolphineer and will take her close to shore as soon as she suspects Tsia is getting tired. Aisu is part of a small pod of six dolphins and although she answers to her dolpineer, she also answers to the old leader of the pod that goes by the name of Hasna. Aisu is friendly towards firelizards, enjoying the company of the flits. She likes to play several games, though question and answer is the one she is most familiar with. Rarely will Aisu ever give a straight answer to a stranger, though she will drop several clues. It is very hard for Aisu to be blunt, and she will often change the subject if she is asked a question too often. Sometimes Aisu can be very curious and will go off exploring, though thankfully she faces no natural predators. Overall she's a friendly, laid back dolphin who knows what she's doing and takes her responsibilities seriously.
