Character type: Dragonrider
Appearance: Tendara is tallish, around 5'8". She would prefer to be less muscular, or at least to have more lithe muscles, but her slightly big-boned built lends itself more easily to the heavier muscled look. She has black hair that falls in waves just past her shoulders and bright green eyes. She has, of course, the few obligatory thread scores and a few scars just from working as a rider for 12 years.
Personality: Tendara is one of those loud and boisterous people who usually seems to be the center of attention, whether good or bad. She's friendly and will go out of her way to get to know people, especially those quiet people lurking in the background. She wants to see everyone have fun and will literally try to pull people into conversations, of course trying not to be too embarassing about it, so that they aren't humiliated by it. Though she has humiliated people that way by accident on occasion.
History: Tendara is one of those people who was certain from the time she knew it was possible that she would be a dragonrider, a bluerider to be precise. Even growing up in High Reaches which, though not Fort by a long shot, frowned upon women as riders beyond gold or maybe the occasional green she wanted to be a bluerider. Born to a brownrider, Tenlor, and a greenrider, Darsa, she was actually brought up in the care of her mother and her female blueriding mate, Jensa when not in the creche.
Information about Tendara's dragon
Dragon Name: Harnoth
Wing (Weyrling Group): Wind-dance Fury
Appearance: Harnoth is a midnight blue, still ver obviously not black, but a very dark, deep blue that goes nicely against the night sky and contrasts beautifully when he streaks through a bright, clear, day blue sky. His coloring is almost completely uniform, except for the slightly lighter dorsal line along the middle of his back and the left hind foot which is a very light blue. Over the years he's picked a few minor thread scars but there's only one along the right side of his body where the threadscoring was significant. The scar is about a hand's width long and not quite ever gone back to the same color as the rest of his hide, much to his distaste.
Personality: Harnoth can't seem to decide whether he is the stoic, type or the clown type. As a result he tends to alternate between acting wise and quiet, and other times acting like a clown, playing around during drills, not listening to Tendara, and generally getting them in trouble. The more people protest the more he acts like a clown and the more trouble Tendara gets into. During the times that he is quiet he shines, making a wonderful dragon who obeys all orders and executes them very well. The only problem is Tendara thinks he's too boring and too much like a machine then. Unfortunately there seems to be no way to turn the two parts on and off at the times when they'd be most appropriately be expressed.
Weyr of Origin: High Reaches
Abilites and weaknesses: He is a agile flyer, but some of which is sacrificed for slightly more stamina. Unfortunately his tendency to clown around can make him a liability at times.
