LoiveName Pronounced: Loy-ve Appearance: Loive has the look of not-trying with his appearance that only someone who is actually trying very hard indeed can ever achieve. His brown hair - slightly over-long - is always very artfully ruffled. His shirt is always untucked and with a few buttons undone- but you'll note, never dirty and it's an expensive shirt too. Similarly, you'll never see him polishing his boots and yet they'll never be scuffed. Personality: Loive is a keen student in the art of Looking Like Nothing Really Matters. He's perfected the lazy look of Why Should I Care Anyway, and has learned to behave as though you don't want something anyway because you will only look pathetic if you don't get it. True enthusiasm is to be mocked, and people who are openly disappointed are never to be sympathized with, only to be made fun of. It's the only way they'll learn. History: Loive's hold wasn't exactly rich, but it was well-off enough that who children were going to marry was a popular topic of conversation. Loive has spent a lot of time with boys who, in some cases, had quite a lot more money than him. It hasn't been particularly good for him. Loive is a candidate. His colour preference is Bronze, Brown, Blue, Green Read: Yes All references to worlds and characters based on Anne McCaffrey's fiction are copyright© Anne McCaffrey 1967,2005, all rights reserved, and used by permission of the author.
