Appearance: K'dar is definitely wiry, and comparatively short standing at 5ft 8. His slightness makes him appear smaller than he actually his, but what he lacks in bulk he makes up for in agility and speed. With dragonrider training he is as toned as a professional acrobat and is as flexible - a source of constant delight to whoever discovers this! He has dark brown hair, with a slightly floppy fringe and dark blue eyes and a mischievous grin that makes him look quite boyish.

Personality: K'dar's personality is a little mercurial. He empathises with the people who he is with and is rapidly drawn into their lives and problems. He is very sensitive to emotional atmosphere and his greatest fault is a tendency to lose perspective. He adores T'lack, throwing himself into their love without reservation, but finds himself cruelly hurt by misunderstandings which he had blown out of proportion through his own insecurities. When it comes to things he is passionate about, K'dar can actually be a little TOO intense, and scary. When T'lack was attacked, he almost literally went berserk...not in a wild way, but in a focused intense unstoppable rage that took several much larger men to stop.

He is an amateur poet and very imaginative in this and...other things, which not many know about. He is a little shy about some parts of his personality but on the whole, he is fun, gregarious, clever, pleasant and exciting to be around and holds strong and intense loyalties to those he latches on to for support.

History: K'dar, born Kheldar, was fostered at a very early age at a small cothold in the South. He might possibly be an orphan-- he's never really known-- but certainly the family of Halen Hold was the only family he knew. And what a family. A horde of girls..or women...females anyway and poor Kheldar the only male in the ranks of the Blood!. Holder Crasken was permanently disappointed with this state of affairs.

Perhaps if Kheldar had been more his idea of a proper man i.e large, muscular and macho he may have welcomed him with open arms as a Faranth sent potential heir. Unfortunately, Kheldar's growth spurt was cut short in his prime. He blames an illness he had around that time, but the odds were that he was always going to be that size. A sensitive youngster, Kheldar found himself somewhat at odds with himself, desperate to get Holder Crasken's approval on the one hand, and to shake off the horde of sisters he had acquired, many of whom were rather unpleasant or domineering. Still... his dubious position meant that he learned both the traditional male and female skills and is a rather talented amateur tailor.

It was not that Kheldar's childhood was filled with grim horror or trauma, just more than the normal portion of family strain in his family life. Still, he was fed well, he had shelter, and he wasn't abused physically, so he counts himself in a blessed minority. He was Searched to Arolos Weyr in his 17th Turn where he Impressed blue Koraloth first time on the sand and showed himself to be more capable of responsibility than he was ever given credit for at Halen Hold. He fell deeply in love, totally unexpectedly with Talack...another candidate and is currently his weyrmate (now T'lack) - and intends to stay that way.

Appearance: Koraloth is a mid to dark blue in colour, and possessing a compact build that makes him finely proportioned

Personality: He is a relatively laid back dragon, and takes his riders emotional storms with calmness and aplomb and is somewhat coloured in his choice of mate having felt the connection to T'lack from his rider. This having been said he is very willing to chase other greens but will in time be as fiercely possessive of Renth as K'dar is of T'lack.

Abilites and weaknesses: Koraloth has good speed and agility even for a blue. As yet he does not excel at anything in particular, but on the otherhand neither is he particularly bad at anything. His main weakness is sometimes he will become to intense about things in a similar manner to his rider.
