Character type: SeaCrafter
Appearance: Jentar is a tall (6 foot), rangy, blue-eyed man with dark-streaked blond hair held back by a thong. Muscular from a lifetime of swimming, sailing and hauling nets, he lost a lot of weight during the Northern famine a few turns ago, and looks stringy. He mostly wears work-clothes, layered according to the weather, with multiple pockets for useful implements. Has a set of fancy clothes he flaunts on occasions like gathers, and is surprisingly graceful on the dance floor.
Personality: Hard-working, dependable, cheerful, respectful to his "superiors". He has just the Basic hold-harper education but he knows the Fishcraft to journeyman level. His accent sounds a bit rough, but he's good at figuring things out. He works hard and plays hard, and enjoys dancing. He was rather smitten with Relana (daughter of Lord Landrian of Gar Hold), but she decided to make a career for herself in the South, and so far he hasn't found anyone to replace her.
History: Jentar was born at Gar Hold, and played with Relana's brothers as a child. His grandfather was serving on board the Gar Hold trading ship Wavedancer when it disappeared with all hands on a trip to the Arolos coast. His mother, a child at the time, was raised in the main Hold, became a cook's assistant, and married a fisherman.
