Character type: Crafter
Appearance: This lovely female stands about 5'9", with flowing brown/blonde hair. She is not exactly body beautiful as she sports about 180 pounds. However she is well muscled as she is a Smtih-Journeyman. She has a singular mark on her right leg from a burn from her crafting.
Personality: Imely is one of three Smithies at Boll who are working hard under the tutleage of Smith-Master Horonal. She is a fiesty character who works hard at her craft but has a strong femine side and is one who tends to be a seeker instead of a waiter as far as her attachments go. She is unmated, no children, and has no desire to birth any. She is happy to help occassionally in the weyr or hold's nursery and between that and her smithing she is happy.
History: Born at Fort and traveled to Boll at age of 8 she began her Apprenticeship before the Master-Smith approved her for the craft. She would often be found in their home hold tinkering with some bit of metal trying to force it into shapes using the small stove their holding had. Her mother, Kyron, loves Tullamor and a great many other men in the hold. Her occasional forays into the hold and weyr, leaving their daughter alone was enough to force Tullamor to ask her for a declamation on him. When she refused he left, leaving his daughter behind as the Lord Holder would not permit the daughter to be so attached. A claim to the Lord and Lady Holder's detriment as when Imely became of proper age of 10, she petitioned the Smith-master personally for permission to be an apprentice. Considering that her mother said nothing to the contrary she was accepted. She earned her Journeyman's Knot at 18 and has is going to spend the next few turns looking for that perfect ore to fashion the tools required by the weyr's and holds. She is as tenacious as an artist should be with his craft. Imely has not taken a mate to herself as she rather fancies herself free-woman and prefers to dally in her free time with whomever she meets that she is interested in and who interests her. She has left Boll on an assignment to find a weyr to work in for three turns, reviving tools, weapons, and anything she would think dragonriders and holders would prefer and need, and teaching as she often as she can. NOTE: She has had to work very hard to gain the appreciation for her work as many of the holders and dragonriders are appalled at a woman/girl in such a craft.
