D'cayneName Pronounced: Duh-Cain Appearance: Tall, dark, and masculine- D'cayne is every bit the stereotypical bronzerider (or at least one of the stereotypes). He tops out at 6 foot 5 and is neither too thin nor too big. He's mostly muscle, somewhere between the body builder type and the swimmer's type. He prides himself on his appearance and often spends extra time on the obstacle course, but he's not excessive about it. Personality: Naturally an easy-going man, Fort hasn't quite beat that tendancy out of him. In fact that side of him is likely to quickly resurface now that he has left Fort and Igen behind and has come to the much more liberal south. Though Igen is more liberal than Fort it still doesn't match Arolos. History: D'cayne, born Deocayne, never knew his father, though that was hardly unusual for a child born in Fort Weyr. His mother, Deona, was a weaver crafter unlucky enough to be caught out during a goldflight by a random male rider. She couldn't bear to take care of the pregnancy and so carried him to term. She placed him in the Creche but spent as much time with him (and the siblings that followed) as she could manage. As a result D'cayne was never left wanting, though he spent more than enough time with the other Weyrbrats to learn the Weyr's politics even from an early age, even if he never really agreed with them. Information about D'cayne's dragon Dragon Name: Zhuth Colour: Bronze Age: 6 Wing (Weyrling Group): Firedance Appearance: Bronzes are meant to be big, masculine, and muscled and Zhuth is no exception. A red-toned bronze, he is on the upper end of the bronze spectrum, though not the biggest bronze in the Weyr for certain. He's more muscular than anything else, and that alone makes him a bit intimidating. Over all he gives the impression of a big hulking creature, though one that is impressive to look at instead of downright scary. Personality: A bronze is a bronze is a bronze. Well maybe not _all_ of them, but Zhuth certainly is. From the tip of his ear knobs to the tip of his tail Zhuth prides himself on being an excellent specimen of his color and he shows it in the way he moves and carries himself. Weyr of Origin: Fort Abilites and weaknesses: Zhuth has all the stamina a big bronze is expected to have, and a nice strong flame to boot. Unfortunately his arrogance tends to get in the way and on more than on occasion he's gotten in trouble for showing off when he's meant to be drilling.
