C'liusName Pronounced: Ceh-Lie-Us Appearance: C'lius is a fairly tall man that stands at a height of 5'11" with a rather slim build. He has dark raven black hair that flows down to end just past his pointed chin. He tends to keep his hair combed and parted on either side and he has a blunt cut of bangs that hangs low over his forehead. His ebony black eyebrows are of medium thickness although the edges tend to thin out near the ends. His eyes are a vivid malachite green in color that seem cold and reflective, almost as if he's holding in his emotions. His nose is of medium side and angular with a rather narrow bridge and small nostrils. His lips are of medium thickness and are a light peach in color, usually pressed into a thoughtful frown unless he's in a good mood. Personality: C'lius is a militaristic man who is well-mannered and polite on a regular basis. He has a tendency to call those of rank Sir or Ma'am depending on their sex, although he will address them by their proper titles if necessary. When it comes to orders he obeys them without question and works as quickly as possible to complete his assigned tasks. His philosophy is work before pleasure and he won't allow himself any leisure time until all important tasks have been completed. Because of these traits he generally stays out of trouble and can be trusted with any tasks assigned to him. He carries himself with a cool confidence, not one of someone overconfident but one who is certain of his own abilities and limitations. History: Corlius was born in High Reaches Hold, the second son of Sr. Journeyman Beastcrafter Patolk and Hold Guard Arnessa. His brother Korjan was older than him by nine turns, which left quite an age gap between them. He looked up to his big brother very much but Korjan only considered him a nuisance and annoying. Especially since Corlius was always full of questions and thought his big brother knew all the answers. His father Patolk was working on breeding a new type of guard canine that was larger and more robust than previous breeds. His father hoped to be able to sell them to a larger group of customers if the canines proved effective and efficient. The canines were kept in kennels but there was a small exercise yard that was fenced in where Patolk could work on training them. Patolk wouldn't let anyone else near them since they were still an experimental breed and he hadn't learned what they were capable of. Corlius was often curious to see the Canines but the most he ever got was a brief glimpse of them. His parents were both very strict people and with a militaristic mother and a stern father Corlius learned his manners very fast. His parents kept him busy with chores most of the time and so he didn't have time to think of much else, even if they were simple little tasks. Information about C'lius's dragon Dragon Name: Kyoseith Colour: Blue Age: 7 Wing (Weyrling Group): Unforgettables (Adoptables Wing) Appearance: Kyoseith is a very large blue that is a total of 30 feet long from muzzle to tail, easily the size of a small brown. His muzzle is both wide and broad with a blunted end that gives him a snub-muzzled appearance. Dark midnight hues encompass his muzzle and creep up to cover his head in inky darkness. Yet among the darkness are tiny pinpoints of azure blue and electric blue, looking like tiny stars among a vast midnight sky. His eyeridges are smooth and narrow, mostly a dark midnight blue with tiny speckles of azure and electic blue. His eyes are rather wide and vaguely oval-shaped and whirl intense colors depending on his current mood. Near the back of his head are two large head knobs which are a solid midnight blue in color, blending so well against the darkness that it is hard to make them out against the midnight blue on the back of his head. Personality: Kyoseith is very different from his rider and prefers to live in a much more carefree manner than the strict schedule his rider keeps to. He seems to enjoy the night the most but it's no surprise considering the pattern and coloration of his hide. On a clear night with lots of stars his hide will look almost like a mirror of the sky. He's rather vain about his hide and isn't afraid to show it off either, displaying for the greens and drawing as much attention to himself as possible. He insists on having it oiled at least three times a day to keep his appearance in good form. And his rider often obliges him since C'lius is just as immaculate about his appearance. Kyoseith finds it hard to understand his rider's fear of Canines since he wasn't there when the mauling happened but he will scare Canines away from his if any approach. Weyr of Origin: High Reaches Abilites and weaknesses: Kyoseith has only average agility because of his size but his endurance is as much as that of a small brown. He is a vain and proud creature but one who does his duty without complaint. He is a strategist when it comes to fighting thread and uses everything he has to his advantage when fighting it. His flame is both long and intense, allowing him to take out patches without having to get too close. His major weaknesses are being overconfident and he'll tend to go so caught up in the details that he may miss the larger picture.
