Name Pronounced: Atee kal
Appearance: Standing 5'4, Atikal is slender, yet stocky, broad shouldered and short legged. His auburn hair is short. His facial features are sharp and chiseled, and his blue eyes are expressive. He has a habit of drawing his brows together so that he looks thoughtful or perhaps disapproving, though this look may or may not reflect his actual state of mind. It just seems to be his natural expression. He is handsome; with his shirt off, he has a six pack. His body is chiseled to perfection. His intense dark blue eyes seem to attract the opposite gender and his body too. Although he isn't tall, everything works just as good.
Personality: Atikal is the sort of man who can lead without ever uttering a word. This is a good thing since he is not flashy. He is quiet and thoughtful. He walks with authority and confidence. It just seems to make people unconsciously take note of his presence, even if they never give it another thought. He is an excellent bronzerider with good tactical knowledge and Threadfighting skill, though he rarely raises his voice any louder than he has to communicate. Yelling and screaming isn't his cup of tea. If he gets angry, he'll take them off to the side or privately and point out their faults and see what they can do to improve. His favorite motto, "There's always room to improve." He is a "3-strikes your out" kind of man.
History: Atikal was a sturdy holder boy who had never given any thought to being anything other than that until the day he was chosen on Search for Telgar Weyr. He was 15 when he Impressed. He a was more than a little dazed when he walked off the sands that first time with a strong young bronze named Corth who refused to consider any other boy. Atikal and Corth tried hard and it was a struggle to get it, right.
Information about At'kal's dragon
Dragon Name: Corth
Wing (Weyrling Group): Unforgettables (Adoptables Wing)
Appearance: Corth is an average-sized dragon for his color, with a slightly darker, dusky bronze hide. It looks as if he rolled in the dust. His muzzle is slightly darker, but the rest of his coloring is fairly even. He is stocky like his rider but, is smaller than his bronze clutch mates, with an unusually long tail, though his wings are nicely proportioned.
Personality: Corth is a strong-willed dragon with a keen sense of what he wants and will do whatever it will take to accomplish it. He is generally serious. Not only do jokes go right over his head, they tend to annoy him since they confuse him. He is also far more ambitious than his rider. Atikal might be content enough with his position, but Corth fully intends to be a Weyrleader's dragon someday.
Weyr of Origin: Telgar
Abilites and weaknesses: Abilites: Excellent skill fighting Thread and staminia in mating flights.
