Z'lindCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: Six feet two inches Z'lind isshaping up to be your typical gentle giant. He is broadshouldered and strong, with large hands scarred by work and a quick, ready smile. He has dark brown eyes, and thick, black hair that he's allowed to grow to his shoulders; he's even showing evidence of facial hair, and in many respects already resembles a young man more than a boy. Though his shoulders are broad, he is slender, and moves with a surprising speed and grace for his size. Personality: Z'lind's unlike his sister in many respects. Though not precisely outgoing, he can settle into a group of people easily, and is known for being an excellent listener. People often came to him with their problems, even in the Hold, for even if he didn't have an answer, he would listen non-judgmentally. A fierce protector of the underdog, he is slow to anger, but once he has, he has been known to fight to protect those he considers in danger of being hurt. This particularly applies to his sister, who he believes very much needs his protection. Z'lind has a knack for saying just the right thing, though, and has managed to be able to settle most situations without coming to blows. He possesses a determination remarkable for one so young, a strength that has led he and his sister all the way to Arolos Weyr for sanctuary. Smart and resourceful, he would make a fine wing leader or, perhaps better suited to him, wing second some day. History: Zelind and his twin sister, Zindrani, were the only children born to Journeyman Herder Bincent and his journeywoman healer wife, Shandrani. They held a small stake of land in Keroon, and raised runners,as well as a number of medicinal herbs which they sold quite profitably to the healer hall. They were what seemed a happy family.
