V'tonName Pronounced: (Veh-tawn) Appearance: V’ton (Vinton) is of medium height, around 5’ 9”, and his slim, though admittedly muscled, build doesn’t give him much physical presence. Even so, he draws people’s gazes with his self-assured aura of confidence. He has dark blonde hair, though it has been bleached slightly by the sun, and he keeps it cropped to a medium-length, framing his narrow face like a lion’s mane. V’ton keeps a well-maintained beard, trimmed down to intensify his strong jaw. His eyes are a stormy blue-gray set under level brows, and his hooked nose gives him a hawk-like appearance. Personality: V’ton can be vain, ruthless, and cold. At least, that is the side of him that most people see. He can be as finicky as a feline about his appearance, sometimes spending nearly as much time on his Gather clothing as the fussiest Lady Holder. Even so, V’ton has a powerful charm about him that draws people to him – something about his wry sense of humor and relaxed ways. His ultimate vice? V’ton likes conversation, good company, and creature comforts. Being a bit of a flirt, V’ton enjoys his fair share of lovers, and knows the first impression is always the most important. Despite this knowledge and the care he takes with his physical appearance, he often drives possible friends away with his ruthless and cold outlook on strength and weaknesses, as he is a strong believer of “survival of the fittest”. Because of V'ton's impatience for weakness, he often finds himself becoming angry rather easily, though his temper is quick to diminish. History: V’ton was born on the 23rd day of the 4th month as a product of a brown-greenrider pairing in Benden Weyr. Growing up fostered to one of the Lower Caverns women, he ran wild with other Weyrbrats, quickly claiming a spot high in their rankings with his wit and curiosity. He was never the strongest, but using his cleverness, quickly earned the respect of his gang of followers. Despite the mischief and pranks he caused during his run as a Weyrbrat, V’ton also earned a reputation of an eager learner and diligent worker by both Harper and Lower Caverns women. Information about V'ton's dragon Dragon Name: Talamirth Colour: Brown Age: 4 Wing (Weyrling Group): Thunder Flame Appearance: Talamirth is russet brown in hide color, with streaks of a more sepia-toned brown painting his underbelly and wing membrane. He is on the larger end of browns, at around 34 feet in length with the corresponding wingspan of just over 51 feet. Although his is long in length, Talamirth seems rather thin width-wise, not nearly as bulky as most browns. Growing up, his massive wedge-shaped head, oversized paws, and extra long tail were a nuisance, always tripping him and others around him. His wings constantly clipped people accidentally. Having grown into his proportions, Talamirth is a beautiful specimen, with well-defined muscles and an elegant bearing. The only thing that offsets his dignified beauty is his tendency to wag his long tail, similar to a canine though much destructive at times. Personality: Perhaps it is a trick of fate or the belief that the dragon is the better half of their rider is true, for Talamirth is as different in personality to his rider as possible. Talamirth shows off the good traits under his rider's pricky shell. One can immediately see that the brown is kind, stoic, and immesurably calm. He is loyal to all he considers friends, and has a protective streak in him that is comparable to a bronze over his queen. His protectiveness stretches to his clutchmates and weyrmates, as well as his wingpartners. Though not much of a conversationalist like his rider, Talamirth is a deep thinker and remembers things with remarkable ease. His random comments and inquiries about other riders and dragons in the Weyr also betray his concern over others his rider might otherwise dismiss as 'weak'. He is also not afraid of admonishing his rider if he thinks V'ton is being too rude or arrogant, and so keeps him humble. As a brown, Talamirth prefers to fly after the flighty greens rather than the queens, having very little ambition beyond loving his rider and friends. He enjoys draconic company, and is adept at flirting with greens despite his usual stoic-amiable attitude. Weyr of Origin: Benden Abilites and weaknesses: As a strong, large brown, Talamirth has earned a deserved reputation as a reliable and powerful flamer and long-lasting flier. Despite his long length, the fact that he's rather lean makes Talamirth fairly fast for a brown. However, his unusually high concern for others in his wing, such as blues and greens, often give him the urge to help or rescue them while fighting Thread. Thus distracted, Talamirth has been known to break rank and become potentially injured.
