Character type: Dragonrider
Appearance: V'ladin is a large, broad-shouldered man who always keeps himself neat and clean at all times, regardless of the situation. His hair is a dark, mulberry-red color of hair and his eyes are a bright, royal hue of blue. There are a few freckles on his shoulders and back, though most of the time you can't see them unless he's undressed. His skin is a little tanned, though he's most likely to burn easy for his first few months at Arolos due to the change of weather.
Personality: V'ladin blames his brother for most of the negative events that have occurred in his life, and he still does to this day. He believes that C'din's Impression of Xaith was a curse and he occasionally makes it a habit of making his little brother's life hectic and frustrating. For Turns, he held the honorable position of Wingsecond at Telgar Weyr, though his torture of C'din led to his being demoted and replaced, and since then he has lived in shame.
History: Velladin, who had elided his name to V'ladin, was a Weyrling in Telgar Weyr when his brother Calladin was born, so the two never saw each other for countless Turns; however, V'ladin's parents had taken the liberty of notifying him that he did have a brother. When they first met, it was before Calladin was to be sent off to Southern Boll for Apprenticeship as a Tailor, and again they were separated. The next time they met was when Calladin stood at Fort Weyr and Impressed green Xaith. His parents were infuriated, crushed, and they ended up arguing until their separation. V'ladin never forgave C'din for the pain he and Xaith caused their family.
Information about V'ladin (dead)'s dragon
Dragon Name: Krosanth
Wing (Weyrling Group): Direflame
Appearance: Krosanth is a woodgrain hue of brown, with rings of both darker and lighter shades undulating down his spine and across his wingspan. He is a bulky brown, muscles well-defined and rippling with his every movement; in his mind, the epitome of perfection.
Personality: Krosanth has no quarrel with C'din or Xaith, and it confuses him when V'ladin goes out of his way to make the boy's life full of frustration. Doesn't His know that dragons choose their riders, and dragons are never wrong? After all, he did choose V'ladin, didn't he? As far as mating flights, Krosanth loves to chase younger greens, though if it's been a while since his last chase, he'll go after an older.
Weyr of Origin: Telgar
Abilites and weaknesses: Krosanth, though aging with every Turn, still holds true to his self-proclaimed notion of being the most agile brown. He can turn on a wingtip if he so chooses; certainly not as nimble as a green can, but his skill proves to be more than most browns possess.
