T'lnakName Pronounced: Tl-nack Appearance: T'lnak who was know as Tilnak before he impressed, has brown hair and blue eyes. His complexion has what looks like a natural light tan. Spending time in the Arolos sun will give him a darker tan, but he will not be prone to sunburn at least. Personality: Tilnak feels like he was born under an unlucky star. He has kept going though because that is who he is. He never seemed to be able to avoid being in the wrong place at the wrong time. History: Tilnak was born to two Arolos kitchen workers, both accomplished cooks in their own rights. He was growing up and being educated along with his two older sisters and three younger brothers. His parents believed that education was important. The fact that they chose kitchen duties had nothing to do with intelligence, but to Tilnak it was a bit demeaning in his eyes and he was determined to find a higher purpose in life. What that purpose would be was a mystery to him, but when he began volunteering in the kennel, Tilnak found himself to an extent. Information about T'lnak's pets Pet Name: Hiss Pet Type: Feline Appearance: Hiss is a black and white tuxedo patterned male feline. He has a nick in one ear and half of his tail is gone by an apparent survival sacrifice which may have been done by a wher or a canine since those are the creatures he avoids. Personality: Hiss is an altered male. He is a rescue that T'lnak adopted from the Weyr kennels. The cat is experienced in dealing with draconics and not becoming a dragon or wher or any other predator snack. He has the scars to prove it. He is trying to work his way into gaining blue Chakkerth's trust, but only sets foot on Chakkerth's ledge when T'lnak is out there, too. When rider and dragon are out of their weyr, Hiss loves sunning out there with or without his sister, Spit. Otherwise the feline is content being indoor resident rodent and creepy crawlie exterminator which was the main reason T'lnak adopted him and Spit. He now owns the weyr and T'lnak in partnership with Spit, his litter sibling, kennel buddy, and fellow adopted feline who is equally knowledgeable about survival around dragons and whers. Second Pet Name: Spit Pet Type: Feline Appearance: Spit is a female color-point cat with a cream tan color body and what appears to be faded torti-shell pattern points on ears, face-mask, tail, and legs. The tortie pattern also expands from her tail down her upper back fading into her body color. She like her brother, Hiss, have scars of lessons learned, but hers are hidden by fur. Personality: Spit has been neutered and is content to be indoors like her brother. She has no delusions or desires of making friends with blue Chakkerth although she loves sunning on his ledge with her brother until she hears Chakkerth's wingbeats nearing the weyr and then she rapidly heads back to safety. She does fancy herself as the other most important person in T'lnak's life with a desire to occupy any space T'lnak happens to also occupy which includes his pillow while he is sleeping. Information about T'lnak's dragon Dragon Name: Chakkerth Colour: Blue Age: 8.23.11.3 Wing (Weyrling Group): Skystrikers Appearance: Chakkerth is a large blue, among the largest at Arolos. When full grown, he’ll rival some of the smaller browns in size and, as a result, he’ll be one of the few blues who, on most occasions, will be able to last a full Fall. His hide is a dark, deep shade of blue over most of his body, but his chest and face are both a much lighter shade of blue. Personality: As helpful as his size will be when fighting thread, it will also cause a number of problems because Chakkerth has no problem using his size to frighten those he sees as dangerous to his ‘family, his rider, and clutchmates. Weyr of Origin: Arolos Abilites and weaknesses: Abilities: His strength, size, and his willingness to protect those he trusts and cares about that will include his rider, clutchmates, friends, and wingmates.
