ShoanaName Pronounced: Sh - O - aw - na Appearance: Curly, light auburn hair to just above her shoulders, one usually sees Shoana with her hair in an itty bitty runner's tail, and a small braided knot, tucked carefully behind her left ear. She rarely has her hair down, though. When the occasion calls for it, usually when she is actually trying to appear "pretty", she will let it down, though the tiny braid tucked behind her ear is a constant aspect of her appearance. Her hazelish eyes, always sparkling in amusement, nearly perfectly contrast the hue of her locks. Shoana has a toasted, tanned skin color due to turns of exposure to the sunlight of outside, as well as the heat from the furnaces that produced her parents' and then her glass crafting pieces. Shoana is fairly short, barely reaching 5'4", and this infuriates her something fierce. She may or may not have a few more inches to claim, however, she won't be seeing these any time soon. There are a few crinkly, wrinkly looking burn marks on Shoana's forearms, which she displays with pride, from accidental encounters with not quite cooled pieces. She would never deny her craft, and the marks left by her carelessness only serve as constant reminders that she is in a constant state of learning. Personality: Down to earth and usually seen with a smile on her face, it is rather difficult to annoy or irritate Shoana. She has long since learned to look on the bright side of things and, even in the tragic face of death, a smile is seen upon her face as she quotes her reasoning, whether its seen as correct or not by those she tries to comfort, "So long as they loved and were loved in turn, their life was not lived and lost in vain." One could say that Shoana is fairly philosophical for someone so young, however, her views aren't really looked down on, so much as thought to be rather odd. Shoana is highly opinionated, and possesses great capacity for problem solving as she is almost always able to provide an unbiased opinion that takes in both sides of the argument and thinks outside the box. Shoana is quite sociable and, though she doesn't actively seek friends, she has no trouble walking into a group and speaking, rather loudly at that. Shoana is a rather loud sort, and, once her opinions are spoken, most regret having asked due to the sheer volume and vigor she shows. Once she has formulated an opinion, it is nigh impossible to get her to change her views, such is her stubbornness. Beneath all this pleasantness, is a cockiness and unseen terror when she gets angered, even if these emotions are usually difficult to draw out of her, should someone be unfortunate enough to do so, they would find a permanent enemy. History: Shoana was born the second of two children to glass crafters. She loves and is terribly fascinated by her parents' craft and wishes to one day excel in the ranks. Her older brother, Minak, tried to keep a short leash on the exuberant young woman, but to no avail. Believing that he had to keep his sister safe from the harsh realities of dragonrider life, because most children dreamt of being searched for candidacy, Minak did his best to distract is younger sister from such thoughts, encouraging her in her craft. Though he has now resigned himself to knowing that he failed at protecting his younger sister from that reality, he finds that he is fascinated at how her mentality developed, and finds himself curious to see what kind of rider she would become. Minak tends to shrug off his sister's obvious display at the joy of simply living, but he also can't help but be slightly proud of her for being able to be so brightly lit despite the sadness that comes and goes in the world. Knowing her brother's desires to keep her sheltered and safe, Shoana allows him to think that he has prevented a great deal of sorrow from entering her life, even if its a falsity, if only to make her brother happy. Information about Shoana's pets Pet Name: Tilka Pet Type: Bronze Firelizard Appearance: Orange and Black egg - When one first looks at this egg, one gets a sense of foreboding and despair. what could be so bad, to make this egg so distressed, the moment its laid? Only time will tell if the flit inside this egg is as sad and dejected as its egg insinuates. But until it hatches, one will just have to speculate about this two toned curiosity. Personality: This dark shaded lad, although just hatched, will have a knack for females. From the moment he first sets his eyes on a female, he'll be captivated. Tilka will ignore most, if not all, other males when a female, be it green or gold, and even sometimes human, is present. For a bronze, Tilka is fairly one track minded. This little guy, once started on a task, will do nothing else until he's seen his current errand through. The one and only thing that would be able to sway this bronze from his task, would be candy. Or, rather, anything sweet. Yes, this bronze flit has a real sweet tooth. It's just a shame that chocolate and similar things are fairly expensive to come by. Information about Shoana's dragon Dragon Name: Wabelleth Colour: Green Age: 0 Wing (Weyrling Group): None Appearance: Personality: Wabelleth will hatch tumbling from the Snowy Hold House egg. She's a medium shade of green with darker green points on her muzzle, headknobs, and tail tip. She'll forever have rather large feet, though not so large as to make her overly awkward. Her rider might hope that she'll grow into of those silly feet, but she'll grow up to be too average of a size to grow into her feet.
