SaoirseCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: Saoirse is average height, with curly brown hair and hazel eyes. Her hair is not just curly, but *very* curly, and tends to be a bit "big" at times, even when she tries to keep it flat. Because of this, she almost always wears it pulled back or braided to keep it from going insane. She is very fit, and is often found exercising in some way, but she hardly looks like a supermodel, nonetheless. She's pretty enough, but rather flat-chested and plain. Personality: Saoirse has every bit the attitude of a tomboy. Confident, tactless, outspoken, and even aggressive, she nonetheless has a strong sense of morality and often finds herself the champion of those who have been wronged and are too shy to stand up for themselves. She has a very quick temper and a sharp tongue, and is certainly not the most pleasant person in the world to be around at times when she is annoyed or angry. She likes getting her way, and often gets a bit put off and indignant when she doesn't. She finds herself attracted to both men and women - pretty much equally - and has had relations with both. She doesn't really care as long as it's good for her, and has very few hangups when it comes to physical pleasure. To her, it's as natural as eating or drinking, and she doesn't really think on it too much and does not consider it a morality issue. Despite her rather abrasive traits, she is a good leader, and actually gets along with people quite well. She tells things as she sees them, and this means she is an "honest broker." She's not one who's going to lie to you to make you feel better. History: A weyrbrat, Saoirse has never known anything but weyrlife. The daughter of a goldflight rendez-vous between a greenrider and a brownrider at Telgar, she grew up exploring and getting herself in trouble, something she was quite good at. Always the leader of her group, many held that she would end up a Goldrider, and indeed, she possessed and displayed many of the qualities that Searchriders seek in a Gold candidate. She never desired a gold, however. She stood for her first clutch at the age of fourteen, but did not Impress blue Louth until she was nineteen. A well behaved and conscientious weyrling, her aggressive and headstrong attitude got her in trouble with her Weyrleader as soon as she was put into a wing at Telgar. She agreed to transfer rather than to face disciplinary action, and has just arrived at Arolos. Information about Saoirse's dragon Dragon Name: Louth Colour: Blue Age: 2 Wing (Weyrling Group): Wind-dance Fury Appearance: Louth is more of a baby blue than the deep blue of other dragons. He's almost pastel, which annoys him a great deal, even though the greens often think it's "cute." He often makes the comment to Saoirse that it would be far manlier if he were navy or royal blue. He is well proportioned, handsome, and a bit less angular than some dragons. He is also a bit on the large side for a blue, more the size of a small brown. Personality: Louth is rather unpleasant for a dragon. He's quite touchy and is very easily offended, and has been known to go off for hours and pout after being criticized. He's blunt like his rider, and says what's on his mind, without thinking of whether it will offend people or not. He's snappish and ornery, and really doesn't like a lot of people. Basically the only person he can tolerate is Saoirse. Weyr of Origin: Telgar Abilites and weaknesses: Louth is a very strong dragon, very powerful. Because of his size, he is not as agile as some blues, but his strength is an important asset.
