R'illCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: Rumil is a big lad, I mean *really* big. He’s around 6’2” in height and heavily built. He’s well muscled pretty much every where and tends to dominate a room with his presence despite his young age. Though his body is quite nice, his face is another matter. Rumil isn’t exactly the handsomest man in the world. His nose is flattened from where it got broken (in an accident involving a young runner!) and he’s missing one of his front teeth. His hair is a pretty non-descript brown colour and he keeps it cropped short due to his work. He’s got nice eyes though. Big and brown, and almost like those of the runners he shoes. Personality: Essentially Rumil is a pretty nice guy. If you stay on the right side of him he’ll be very friendly and will quite happily use his size to get you out of sticky situations. He’s a *good* friend to have. He’s also a *very bad* enemy to have. He’s known to be quite vindictive at times and if you really piss him off he’s not beyond beating you up. Thankfully he doesn’t usually decide he dislikes someone on sight - he’s just nice and friendly unless someone takes a dislike to him, or crosses him in some way. That’s when the nasty side set’s in. He’s never been nasty to animals though. While he can be as evil as he likes to people Rumil wouldn’t harm a fly. A runner could kick him as many times as it liked and he still wouldn’t loose his temper with it. While not retarded Rumil can hardly be called bright. He thinks in a very slow and deliberate fashion and he has trouble picking up on purely thinking matters. Of course he’s really quick on the uptake with practical things so he sort of balances out. He likes music, but he only ever listens to it as he can’t carry a tune in a bucket and his dancing isn’t that much better. History: Rumil was born in the Fort Harper Hall. His father a Master Harper and his mother a cook. His father had great hopes for him to follow in his footsteps as a Harper... but when it became apparent that Rumil had absolutely no talent in that area he was packed off to live with his grandfather - a retired Smith in the Telgar area. His grandfather soon noticed the boy’s talent for all things practical, and also his love of animals. He encouraged that, and when Rumil turned 12 he sent him to the SmithHall with a note to the MasterSmith that the boy would make a good farrier. After a turn of general Smith training Rumil was sent to Arolos Hold to train under a Master farrier there. He’s been there ever since, happily shoeing runners and doing as his Master tells him to . Information about R'ill's pets Pet Name: Turner Pet Type: Canine Appearance: Turner is a typical boxer type Canine. He’s quite a big dog with oversized paws and a slightly flattened muzzle with black markings on it. Most of the rest of his body is brown except for a small splash of white on his chest Personality: Turner is a big puppy. He just *loves* to play! Thankfully he’s also pretty intelligent, and Rumil has him trained well so he’ll sit in a corner out of the way of the runners. Turner loves other dogs and will take any oppertunity to make canine friends. Information about R'ill's dragon Dragon Name: Modoth Colour: Brown Age: 7 yrs Wing (Weyrling Group): None Appearance: His hide is a light acorn color with klah colored markings along his muzzle, ridges and his lower legs. He's quite a handsome brown if you can get him to stand up straight, but trying to do so is a task. He tends to hunch in on himself, unwilling to pretend he's bigger than he is. Personality: Being the smallest brown of the clutch has left Modoth feeling like an outcast. It doesn't matter that he's larger than half his brothers and sisters, namely the blues and greens, he just knows he's small! Weyr of Origin: Arolos Abilites and weaknesses: Because of his size, Modoth is barely able to last a full Fall, he may only reach as high as Wingsecond unless his lifemate believes in him and pushes him farther.
