Name Pronounced: Nee-Aye-Lee-Uh
Appearance: Nialia is 5'6, with an average frame. She has toned arms, but the rest of her is slightly out of shape. Her skin is a smooth, light brown. She has a square jawed, but other wise delicate face. Her eyes are large dark brown, with short dark lashes. Her eyebrows and hair are medium brown. She has a small, well-shaped nose. Her lips are full, a soft rose color. Her hair is cut short, and is sleekly straight.
Personality: Nialia is a sweet, happy girl. She loves being around people, even when she's not actually a part of the group. Her life has been such a whirl of activity that being alone sometimes freaks her out. She is easily entertained. Sometimes her attention is easily distracted, and it's not uncommon to find her staring blankly off at something or another. Despite her love of high energy settings, she's actually relatively low energy herself. She likes sitting with a book, or a sketch pad as the world moves around her. She likes sleeping, and resting more than anything else.
History: Nialia's mother was a jewelry crafter caught weyrside during a gold flight. She was locked up in a room with a customer, making a sketch for a piece of gather jewelry. She didn't succumb to flightlust at that time, but the urge did not pass with the flight, and that night she sought out the company of a handsome young guard. When she discovered she was pregnant, she decided the fact that she was at least ten years the boys senior was ample reason not to inform him. Eventually she repented, and sent him a necklace with a lock of Nialia's hair in it, along with a thank you note.
Information about Nialia's dragon
Dragon Name: Chitybanth
Wing (Weyrling Group): Unforgettables (Adoptables Wing)
Appearance: A very pale green overall, Chitybanth has several darker streaks in several places. Most easily apparent is along her snout. One goes from her left eye and down to her nostril, while the other runs along her lower right jaw. There's similar striping along the last third of her tail, culiminating in one fork being entirely pale and the other being entirely dark. When she spreads her wings, though, it's even more obvious; both wings alternate light-dark-light-dark-light-dark, starting at the shoulder joint and fanning out to the edge of the sail. On each of her flanks is a dark green splotch which looks almost like a spoked wagon wheel.
Personality: Many dragonets have an active imagination; Chitybanth, however, could best be described as having an OVERactive imagination. And where most dragons grow out of it as they grow up, Chitybanth never will. This isn't the big problem, however. That comes from Chitybanth's firm convictions that if you can dream it, if you believe it... anything is possible. Considering the big dreams Chitybanth can conceive and her belief in the possibility of anything, this may well drive her rider crazy. Fortunately for the rider, however, Chitybanth will follow along for the ride, so at least he won't be alone. While many might denigrate any project the green is involved in, scoffing at its likelyhood of success simply *because* Chitybanth is involved, her belief in herself - and her rider - will keep her from taking insult from such comments. In fact, they're more likely to spur her on to success... but not really just to prove the naysayers wrong, so much as to prove her belief that "anything is possible" correct. And when she *does* take on a project, of any kind, she'll work towards the goal with single-minded purpose that will keep her busy long after most dragons would forget about it. With luck, a sufficiently skilled rider may steer Chitybanth towards useful goals (such as increasing her stamina, or better control breathing fire), but they're just as likely to be utterly absurd, or even patently ridiculous.
