MerileeCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: Everything about Merilee is medium. She's medium height and medium weight (though before she was a dragonrider and dragged bodily into fitness by the Weyrlingmaster, she tended toward the "pleasantly plump" end of the scale, and still rounds a bit in the breasts and the hips). She has medium-length, coarse brown hair and medium-brown skin that's *just* light enough for her darker freckles to still show. Personality: Lazy, unfortunately. It's Pasheth who gets her up and moving most days, and who guides her to the nearest pot of klah while her eyes are still too bleary to be trusted. It got them both in a fair bit of trouble as Weyrlings until Pasheth learned the trick of it. History: Merilee's family is about as rich as you can be without being a Lord Holder. Her father says that they're richer, in fact, because Lords have to be responsible for lands and people and tithes and never get time to *enjoy* it. All *their* family has to take care of are some of the richest gambling houses and dens of iniquity in Bitra, and cozying up to the right people to keep it that way. Information about Merilee's dragon Dragon Name: Pasheth Colour: Green Age: 3 Wing (Weyrling Group): Thunder Flame Appearance: She's a compact, muscular dragon -- a bit masculine looking, really, if that's not too ridiculous to say about a green. She's got a short, broad muzzle matching her short neck, though her tail's longer than it ought to be. Next to other greens and even blues she looks stubby and chubby, though her weight's perfectly normal for her size. There's only a few small lashes of Thread-scarring on her bottle-green hide -- Merilee isn't the kind of thrill-seeker you often see riding green and she's not going to risk Pasheth showing off. Personality: Pasheth is a great deal more energetic than her rider, which is probably the only thing that makes them function as a team at all. Merilee isn't a coward, exactly, but she's not eager to die for Pern and definitely isn't ready to sacrifice Pasheth -- so it's Pasheth's instinctive, burning need to destroy Thread that keeps them going up to fight.
