Ma'vikCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: At 5'11 Malvik is an average sized lad, albeit a bit scrawny after months of being starved at Fort. While he'll recover from that ordeal soon enough, he'll always be a lean fellow. His hair is sandy blond and prone to a bit of a wave which he counters by keeping it cut fairly short and neat. His eyes are an appealing shade of sea green and they would be his best feature if they weren't so often narrowed in suspicion. Istan born, he's used to the heat and it won't take him long to lose the pastiness he developed from Fort and replace it with a nice deep tan. Personality: Malvik has always been fairly quiet, his time at Fort has also taught him the value of suspicion and it drove home the harsh reality that most people were out for themselves. He'll make friends, though it will be a long process and he'll have trouble trusting anyone. To be fair, he's out for himself as well. He'll help when he can, more so if he has an inkling of fondness towards another person, but when push comes to shove he will always come first. History: Born to a pair of riders, and then deposited in the Istan creche, Malvik is used to Weyr life and would feel quite lost elsewhere. His entire life has been devoted to one main goal- Impression- and from the moment he was old enough to stand he joined the ranks of Istan Candidates. And then watched clutch after clutch pass him by. Which was okay- he was loyal to the Weyr, both his parents- while absentee parents- were riders and he figured that his time would be due. Information about Ma'vik's dragon Dragon Name: Hardreth Colour: Brown Age: 1 Wing (Weyrling Group): Wind-dance Fury Appearance: Personality: Hardreth is a long lean bordering on gangly dragon whose hide is the warm comfortable shade of well worn, scuffed leather. Reminiscent of his egg- though a not quite as creepy, he always seems to be alert and quite observant. He's even prone to listening in on conversations, dragon or otherwise though he does tend to keep his findings to himself or a few of his select, closest friends including his lifemate.
