Character type: Dragonrider
Appearance: Her sandy blonde hair cut at shoulder length is just long enough to tie back every morning, although her bangs are a constant source of irritation. She hasn't the patience to grow them out to tie them back with the rest of her hair, but can't let them just hang to tickle her forehead. Her chocolate brown eyes are fairly close together, giving her the appearance of being cross more often than her mood would support. At 5' 5" she is probably as tall as she will ever get, and life on the road has made her thin frame look very wiry. She has the reputation of eating enough for someone twice her size, but so far never shows an ounce of it.
Personality: Lexia is a well balanced case of optimisim and pessimism. Show her a glass and ask if it's half full or half empty, she's likely to just drink what remains and be done with philosophizing. Growing up a trader, she is well aware of the way people can be, but believes they can rise to the occassion, if you just approach them right. Her favorite way to spend her free time is down by the draft beasties, playing tuneless meanderings on her pipe. She has no illusions about musical talent, but the beasties don't seem to mind, thus she likes to spend time with them. She is not overly friendly, but not overly aloof, either. After all, having always been surrounded by family, she has never honestly felt alone.
History: Growing up in a trader's train where pretty much all the children were related in one way or another, Lexia never felt alone. Her oldest brothers and sisters were already selling wares or had left the train, like her favorite brother, Lucthor. When she was twelve turns old, she began caring for the draft animals. A journeying harper traveling with her family for a few sevendays taught her enough about piping that she could sooth the beasts on restless nights. During one of those long nights she realized she wanted something more stable than traveling, but couldn't see herself living the typical holder's existance. Then Lucthor came home when her youngest sister was born and she found her answer. He was a candidate at Arolos. Surely if he could candidate, she could! She convinced her mother that Lucthor would take care of her, after all, didn't he send his flit, Pere, to visit her regularly? So, off she went, unsure how to become a candidate, but full of faith her brother wouldn't let her down.
Information about Lexia's dragon
Dragon Name: Sohegoth
Age: 5 turns
Wing (Weyrling Group): InfernoStorm
Personality: Sohegoth is a startling cerulean blue, almost uniformly so, except for the very tips of his headknobs which will be a very dark blue. This blue will able to fly at great speed but without quite so much agility as a green. He seems to be able to fly backwards too, but that’s something his rider will have to persuade him out of. His aerial acrobatics will still be something to behold though, fighting Thread will be a joy to him as he gets a chance to show his skill. Neither short nor long, he’s in proportion to himself both lengthwise and wingspan-wise.
