Character type: Weyrling
Appearance: While not as fat as he once was, L'jol still has a little too much liking for his food, and it shows in his round tummy. The South, and the cares of his foster-parents however have done him good, and the boy's cheeks are tanned and freckly with good health. He still tires easily at most exercise, and would never be considered even close to being fit enough to be a candidate; he’s just never had to work hard enough to built up any strength or stamina. His once small eyes earned him the nickname “Piggy” by some of the more unkind children when he first arrive at the Weyr and its stuck, even though his features are more proportionate now.
Personality: Sometimes all people seem to see is a chubby kid that likes to eat, so sometimes that’s all that people get. When he first arrive at the Weyr L'jol had grand ideas about being *awesome* and going *places* in this fantastic place. Oh nothing so large as aspiring to be a candidate or anything, why should he want one of those great big monsters? (Especially not when he threw up all over the one single dragon he’d ridden and that was the end of that.) No, he’s always set his hopes and dreams on being a master of food for all of the Weyr, or maybe just a very well respected baker. Something where he can be in the kitchens that he loves to be in and would be allowed to just eat and laze around. Its the one place feels quite comfortable.
History: Geole never knew anything about his birthparents, but he was happy enough with his foster family. They were good to him and also good enough to get him a place somewhere he could grow up a bit and learn something useful. He was a lazy kid that didn’t have much ambition outside of eating, however he did show some interest in helping out his foster Ma in the kitchen. The choice was farmwork or the Weyr creche. Arolos Weyr was a grand opportunity where maybe he wouldn’t have to haul-butt all day long in some field *and* he had hoped to apprentice to the Weyr bakers and cooks.
Information about L'jol's dragon
Dragon Name: Listoth
Wing (Weyrling Group): Tiny Travellers
Appearance: At first it seems like there’s hope for Listoth to have been a larger green, perhaps more useful than some of her teeny sister; but her size it deceptive. She’s actually very small and lean enough that there’s sometimes worry that she’s not eating enough and this paired with the vomit-brown-ish shade of her green hide and apparent constant lethargy many will think she’s unhealthy. Not so! She’s maybe a bit odd-looking, but there is wiry strength in her gangly form. Its just that she’s all limbs and knobbly joints and is taller than many of her green fellows, but not actually larger. (Part of her wonders if they think she’s sick all the time they will excuse her from work…)
Personality: Some dragons try to hide a lazy nature. Listoth practically takes pride in it. Her lifemate's attempts to keep a tidy cot may well be disturbed by Listoth's tendency to just drop things here, there and everywhere when she gets tired of them (and she’s always about poking her way through things, even ones that aren’t hers). While some greens jostle upwards, searching for life, Listoth takes joy in the idea she will never need to be promoted so she can just do what she wants. Why would she ever want to add even *more* responsibility? She already has so much that she has to take care, especially her very young lifemate.
