Name Pronounced: luh-BRANT (rhymes with "ant")
Appearance: L’brant used to stand 6 feet even, though he has lost a little height due to the arthritic changes in his damaged leg. He is pale-skinned and narrow of face, with a blade-like nose, a high forehead, and very high cheekbones for a man; he is handsome in a hawk-like way, though his face is marred by two Threadscore scars. Both run vertically, one down his left temple, the other straight across the middle of his eye socket and all the way down to his jawline, with a break around his eye where his goggles stopped the filament from doing damage. Two patches of silvery hair mark the ends of those scars, where the filaments touched scalp rather than facial skin. Besides the white patches, his loosely-curled mop of mahogany-brown hair is shot with the silver of incipient graying; he has let his hair grow almost to shoulder length over the last few Turns. L’brant’s eyes are grey, and so pale as to seem almost colorless in bright light.
Personality: At base, L’brant is a quiet, intellectually-inclined man, with a deep appreciation for arts and aesthetics. He has a good supply of common sense to draw on, which he is happy to share with anyone who seeks his advice. He is kindly and patient unless pushed past his considerable limits, although being an AWLM has taught him how to be stern when needed. He has that aura of the good listener about him, which tends to lead others to open up to him. He sees this as a double-edged sword – there are times when it helps him to help others out, but then there are other times when he would prefer not to have to hear someone’s entire life story.

Information about L'brant's pets
Pet Name: Mica
Pet Type: Bronze Firelizard
Appearance: At hatching, Mica is a bit on the small side for a Callamere bronze, although he will be beautifully conformed from the moment he breaks shell onward. His base coloration is reminiscent of bronze touched by many hands; his hide has a gentle patina rather than a bright shine. The brightest parts of his body are his snout, head-knobs, neck- and back-ridges, and the leading edges of his wingsails. His hide darkens from its base color on the undersides of his wings and his belly, and down toward his paws. When grown, he will be slightly smaller than the average for a Callamere of his color, but still well within the breeding program’s target range.
Personality: Mica is a flit to make Callamere proud – intelligent, loyal to his pet, and eminently trainable. He will learn quite a few tasks, and will prove especially fond of approval and admiration from his pet as rewards. Food is good, too, of course, since he is a flit. He will mature into a dedicated flirt and chaser of both golds and greens. After a few sevendays, he will rarely be found on his pet’s shoulder anymore, preferring to fly about over L’brant’s head or to perch somewhere nearby whenever he is not actively seeking food or physical affection from his pet. Once his pet goes to sleep, however, he will regard it as his right to curl up on the pillow just above his pet’s head, and nothing will budge him.
Information about L'brant's dragon
Dragon Name: Imith
Wing (Weyrling Group): WeyrlingMasters
Appearance: Imith is a long and rangy blue, with unusally long wings and tail. He is of a uniform dusty denim-like color, and his top side is sprinkled over with very pale flecks which give him the appearance of having been powdered, or of being rimed with frost. His head-knobs and neck-ridges are tipped with the same shade of pale powder-blue. Imith’s left wing is heavily scarred over almost its entire length, though two distinct zones are visible, one from each major scoring. His left shoulder-joint and rib cage are likewise heavily scarred, except for a clear patch where his rider’s leg lay when they were hit by a Thread tangle.
Personality: Imith is rather more outgoing than his rider; indeed, before they were scored, he had a strong socializing effect on L’brant. His sociability is still what keeps his rider from withdrawing into himself outside of what duty requires of him. He is far more optimistic than his rider at this point, finding the silver lining when L’brant cannot and pointing it out to him, repeatedly if need be. Like L’brant, he is kindly and patient, though he has to be reminded by his rider to be firm and not give in when sternness is warranted. Imith is fond of young things in an avuncular way, be they draconic or human, and has a remarkable tolerance for their foibles. His main source of sadness and disappointment is that he can no longer effectively chase the greens, as he used to be very much the flyer.
Weyr of Origin: High Reaches
Abilites and weaknesses: Imith’s weaknesses in Fall fall far short of his strengths; indeed, he is no longer fit to fly Thread. His maneuverability is low due to the heavy scarring and damage to the joints of his left wing. His stamina in flight is greatly decreased by that same damage. He has enough capability to fly straight - for fairly short distances as compared to other blues – to jump Between, and to hunt for himself. His flame is well-controlled and well-sustained, though he hasn’t much chance to use it these days. He is also very adept at forming, using, and sending cogent and comprehensible transfer points; he knows exactly where he is when entering and leaving Between with a precision many dragons do not. The down side of this ability is that he tends to cut corners in regards to altitude and such when Betweening; this has not yet proved a problem, but the potential for disaster remains.
