Character type: Crafter
Appearance: Korrisan is tall and well defined, though not bulky. His travels have left him with light musculature as well as tanned skin, which the Arolos sun has maintained. He has blonde hair that he keeps cropped short and dark brown eyes. He's always clean shaven, but that's mostly because he can't grow a beard. He just doesn't grow facial hair, or body hair. He used to hate it, thinking it made him look less manly. But now he quite likes it; it just means his skin won't get irritated from the combination of shaving and the heat.
Personality: Besides his sense of humor, Korrisan doesn't really show much emotion. His rather emotionless childhood forced him to internalize the idea that emotion is weakness. But he does feel things very deeply. This contradiction between the person he presents to the world and who he actually is has made it so he rarely judges anyone on the first meeting. He figures everyone is hiding something about themselves, and so he treats pretty much everyone pleasantly.
History: Korrisan grew up in a small hold near Nabol Hold, the second son of a miner and his wife. His family life was gruff and cold. It wasn't that his parents didn't love him; they just weren't the type of people who expressed it. So at the age of 12, when he had to Apprentice to a craft, Korrisan took up a craft that had no presence in his home and so would allow him to leave home: the Cobbler Craft. His goal was to eventually make his way as far south as possible to a Weyr, where it was warm and more accepting.
