K'vifedName Pronounced: Kih-vee-fed Appearance: K'vifed is a good height, around 5' 11" or so, but not so tall that his height would make him stand out in a crowd. He's good-looking, but not devastatingly so. His eyes and hair are both dark brown, but he's shaved off all of his hair in a crew cut just above his scalp. He generally has several days' worth of stubble growing on his chin because he forgets to shave. His build is lanky and lean, fit and muscular in its way, and the clothes he wears always appear disheveled. His skin is light olive in tone, neither unusually light or unusually dark. Personality: K'vifed is lazy. Lazy, shallow, and self-absorbed. Instead of doing things for himself, he'd much prefer to have others do them for him, and if he had his way he wouldn't ever have to raise a finger to take care of himself. K'vifed hates work of any kind, occasionally actually going so far as to deliberately injure himself to avoid flying Fall. It's not unusual for him to neglect bathing himself for days on end, or to wear the same clothes multiple days in a row. History: (I would like to use this character in the Major Scout Plot) Information about K'vifed's dragon Dragon Name: Derlinth Colour: Blue Age: 7 Wing (Weyrling Group): CloudDancers Appearance: Derlinth is an average-sized blue with a long and lanky build, similar to his rider. His back and the top of his wings are a rich royal blue, with a very creamy pale blue running across his belly, on the underside of his wings, and on the inside of his front and back legs. The contrast between the two shades of blue is sharp, with no shading. Derlinth is a reasonably average blue, but he believes he is stunning in appearance, unresistable to any green or even gold, and this carries over to his behavior, in which he is an outrageous flirt. Personality: Like his rider, Derlinth is lazy. He'd much rather spend his time snoozing in the sun on his ledge or in the lake, so he doesn't mind his rider's constant machinations to keep them out of Fall, especially since fighting Thread is a dangerous activity that could get them both killed. When Derlinth is not being forced to work, he generally lays motionless like a lump, refusing to move unless there is a great need that needs to be tended to, such as hunger or a very itchy hide. When that need is assauged, it is very difficult to get him to move again until another comes up. The only exception to this is greenflights. Derlinth lives for chasing greens and will do so energetically whenever one goes up. He's actually managed to win quite a few, to delight of both him and his rider. In his chases Derlinth displays the potential he should be using when fighting Fall, but so far it has been impossible to convince him to do so. Hopefully, someday someone will figure out how. Weyr of Origin: Igen Abilites and weaknesses: Because he is lazy, Derlinth is prone to making stupid mistakes in Fall, getting himself and others injured much more often than he should. His abilities are that of an average blue, but he refuses to use them to their fullest, only using the absolute minimum nessecary to keep him alive. Because of this, he is far from the ideal wingmate.
