Name Pronounced: JOE-lee, sounds like Jodi
Appearance: With her heart-shaped face and sleepy, spring green eyes, Joli is a rather attractive young lady, and she knows it. She has a fair complexion for Southern, which isn't particularly fair at all, but pale enough to be eye-catching (not to mention burn and freckle like mad), and a slightly-tall-for-her-age, barely there hourglass build. Her hair is quite long, with with big, loose waves and curls that tend to be tied back in a sort of braided crown on top, and loose beneath all tide up with a ribbon. The curls are thick and black-or so close it doesn't really matter-but not particularly glossy.
Personality: Joli has a strong, dynamic personality tempered by her northern-bred mother's fierce desire to have a meek and obedient daughter. Given enough time away from her family, her quiet exterior will melt away to reveal a clever, flamboyant-but all together air headed-young woman. For all that shes friendly, high spirited, confident and adventurous, Joli is unfortunately vain, quick-tempered, impulsive and just a bit selfish. Though it will fade with time, Joli was brought up with the idea that all women, and especially girl-children, should be quiet, helpful and obedient, sometimes giving her the feeling of two personalities in one body. Around her family, and her mother most of all, Joli /is/ a perfect example of a "good northern daughter": quiet and subdued, helpful especially when it comes to working with Papa's beasts, and listens to her elders (or at least, appears to) in all things. If nothing else, it all adds up to proof of her determination and will, and a marked talent for reading people.
History: Mama and Papa were both born Holder children-both distant relations to a Northern Lord's family, and so far down the line of succession that it seemed just a painful joke. When it became obvious they would be the last in line for everything, Papa convinced his sweetheart, and new wife to spend her dowry on a trip south. There they set about raising children and runners-the one thing Joli's father had ever been truly good at. He had dreams of building a new, southern based breed that everyone would clamor for-unfortunately, someone beat him to the punch.
Information about Joli's pets
Pet Name: Stormy
Pet Type: Runner
Appearance: Stormy is an all over light grey, splattered with black and near-white "freckles", rusty black points and an almost white "blanket" across her rump, and an unusually thin, sparse mane and tail. She has smallish eyes, made to look all the smaller because of their weirdling blue color and prominent sclera. The mare's eyes, combined with her small, pale hooves and small, rangy build-all cheerfully passed on to both her foals-makes her the poster child for why Joli's father is having a hard time selling his horses.
Personality: A willing and eager mare, with a strong saucy streak and a passion for running. Stormy is a rather intelligent creature, who is all to ready to make trouble when she's bored or lazy, but loves her two legged herd members, and their scratches, just as much as the four legged.
Information about Joli's dragon
Dragon Name: Pownith
Wing (Weyrling Group): Flamespires
Personality: Pownith will be a dark, forest colored green dragon with light blotches here and there as if light is shining through trees. A rather large green, she won't quite rival a small blue, but she'll definitely be of decent size. Pownith will be a muscular green, though surprisingly agile at the same time, though she will seriously lack in stamina.
