Ja'sonName Pronounced: A sharp "jah", followed by a softer "sohn". Appearance: Ja'son has black hair with hazel-green eyes. He is a bit small for his age, and has quite a strong nose and jaw that make him seem completely unfinished. He is yet thin and wiry in frame, though if his medium bone structure is any guide, he'll not be stuck that way for many more turns. Ja'son has a lot of growing to do, and is hoping that he'll gain some height and fill out as any strong, proper dragonrider should. Ja'son has an innocent, thoughtful face that is usually quite open and completely easy to read. His skin is lightly tanned from helping outside, and with the amount of help he does, he will surely gain some substantial muscle when he does hit his late growth spurt. Personality: Ja'son is for the most part outgoing and likes to help injured creatures that he comes across. He has a clumsy tendency to cause accidents; if he passes a stack of anything he will knock it down. He always drops to pick up the mess with sincere apologies pouring out of him, but expect him to cause a minor ruckus at least twice daily. Ja'son likes to make new friends and at times appears a little bit too enthusiastic in the pursuit of them. He does not like to think of himself as a burden but occasionally, especially just after one of his "episodes" of bad luck, he believes himself to be one. These spells are followed by at least one meal holed up alone where he can't get into more trouble. Jasson is interested in healing animals, which has grown from hold animals to include draconian types. History: Jasson was born in a cothold near Forest Edge. He grew up the only son of two loving-if sometimes exasperated-parents: Illea and Theon. His parents work hard at the cothold, Theon working outside while Illea tended the house and the children too young to till fields. Jasson would often try and help his parents, only to end up causing trouble. Illea suggested to her son that he should try to find out what he likes to do, and is capable of, and then to apprentice in that field. So he began asking anyone who'd listen how to heal, especially animals. Often would he wonder whether it were possible to help heal dragons. To ride a dragon would be amazing, every boy's biggest dream, but to also be able to heal them would be incredible beyond words. Jasson was set to leave for the healer craft to concentrate on livestock when he was searched. Information about Ja'son's dragon Dragon Name: Wolphath Colour: Brown Age: Month 9 Wing (Weyrling Group): Wind-dance Fury Appearance: Wolphath's hide is a blend of browns. A dark reddish brown, like maroon giving way to burnt umber, which blends nicely into a gorgeous light copper. He's remarkable to look at, and a glory to behold especially when freshly oil and his hide gleams while soaking up the thick, warm liquid. Personality: Wolphath makes no attempts to hide his hunger. Before this hatchling was even out of his shell he was making whining noises, wanting food. In fact before the first crack appeared Wolphath will was sending out little mind-voice cries asking to be fed. Weyr of Origin: Arolos Abilites and weaknesses: Food is this umber dragon's great downfall, though it would probably only count as a weakness during Weyrling training or, later, wing drills. Wolphath will be a wonderful fighting dragon, whipping through the sky swiftly, his leanness lending him more maneuverability without stealing his stamina.
