Character type: Candidate
Appearance: Iomea, or Io, has very pale blond hair, about an inch long. She regularily cuts it to keep it out of her way, as, when long, it tangles very easily and gets caught in everything. Her eyes are a dark golden-brown, leaning towards a dark, almost muddy blue-gray color that can sometimes seem more bluish than gray depending on the colour clothes she's wearing, as clothes do tend to bring out various colours in eyes at times. There is also an golden-brownish ring around the pupils, although it is difficult to see unless you know it is there. They only focus on one thing at a time, but tend to glare at that one thing. She is five foot four, and slim. She is lithe and agile, much like a cat in human form. Her skin is heavily tanned, making her hair even more striking than the blondness would be otherwise. She is well muscled, but not obviously and, as such, is much stronger than she first appears.
Personality: She first appears to be cold and distant, but very slowly softens if you can stand getting to know her. However, she is only this way towards humankind. She often swims in the lake with anyone not human, including dragons. She is extreamly private and writes nothing down of herself, much less tells people. Strangely enough, she leads people very well as long as they do not question her. Then her well hidden temper is liable to explode. She also enjoys helping animals and dragons, hence her choice of Dragonhealing for the 3 candlemarks.
History: She grew up in a neighboring Hold, her parents both cooks. She is cold and distant because, as a child, she was playing with the other Hold children, showing them how to play a certain game. When one of them purposely broke a rule, her temper flared and she punched him, nearly breaking his nose. Because of this, one of the elderly supervising them at the moment brought her to the Lord Holder, (since it was his second-eldest son she punched), who had her punished severly. Her reaction was to completely close herself away from others, becoming cold and distant unintentionally. Now she knows no other way to live. They (her parents) didn't want her to go the same way, so they were trying to get her to train for Healer, as she had some skill aiding the injured in her Hold (but she wasn't allowed near the holder's sons again), etc, that the Hold Healer asked the children to help with. She was apprenticed, and Searched from the Hall a few Turns later, before she became a journeyman. Now she waits for a Hatching.
Iomea (Io) is a candidate. Her colour preference is gold, green
