H'yuCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: If the bronzeriders are the movie stars of Pern, then he s the Johnny Depp of them. H’yu s very handsome, as a bronzerider *should* be. His hair is dark, wavy and kept long enough to be pulled back under his riding helmet. Growing up in the south gave him a good solid bronze to his complexion, and his face sports bright hazel eyes, a well set, if slightly crooked, nose and trace amounts of facial hair on his upper lip and chin. He’s just above average height with well toned muscles, even if he’s a bit on the slender side. Personality: If the bronzeriders are the movie stars of Pern, then he s the Johnny Depp of them. History: Hayu had a happy early childhood, raised by his mother and older sister and the many Journeymen and apprentices that just loved the boy. He was around animals all of all sorts from an early age and showed an aptitude for working with the younger ones, so it was no surprise that a visiting blue dragon decided he wanted young Hayu for the Weyr. He was eager, but still too young, so they promised the rider that they d send for him to get Hayu when he turned twelve. Hayu was not apprenticed as he should have been, as his mother and brownrider father who visited often, were so sure that he would impress that they could hardly wait to send him to Ista. Information about H'yu's dragon Dragon Name: Pyrakkath Colour: Bronze Age: 21 Wing (Weyrling Group): WeyrlingMasters Appearance: Many other dragons say he should have been hatched a Queen, with a slightly dainty build and gold undertones to his gleaming, and very bright, bronze hide. Pyrakkath is average size for a bronze, and well proportioned. Hes oddly graceful on the ground, which is good because he's always spent a lot of time flightless, herding hatchlings around. Personality: How he came to be a Weyrling Master s dragon is a bit of a mystery as Pyrakkath has very little patience for dragonets. They annoy him to no end, but he tolerates them because it s his duty ad because H yu asks him to. He much prefers the bright young minds of the adolescent dragons and thoroughly enjoys the more advanced lessons of flying, chewing firestone and *betweening*. He also really enjoys the humans that His works with and quite often will speak with them if they ask, or need help. Weyr of Origin: Ista Abilites and weaknesses: He’s just, well, graceful on the ground and in the air and sea. But he has little patience and has been known to snap at young dragons who get on his nerves.
