Gr'dilCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: Having just hit a growth spurt, Grendil stands at around 5'11" and still growing. He is lightly tanned, with a case of acne that centers on his nose and forehead, probably due to the fact that he only washes his dark brown hair when reminded to. His eyes are a clear hazel. He has an average enough look to him, with a nicely porportioned nose and nothing insightly save his acne. When he smiles he can almost look boyishly handsome. Personality: Grendil doesn't get along too well with many people, probably due to his mood swings. Of course he is a teenager. Most times he can be nice enough and actually does have a tremendous sense of humor when he isn't in a bad mood.Bur other times he can be a pain in the arse and annoy people to the point that they have to walk away before they slap him. How does he achieve such a high state of annoyance? By pointing out every little thing you do incorrectly. He'll nitpick every little thing you say and always find at least one thing to corrrect you on. One of the reasons he's so good at catching mistakes is that he memorizes names and faces so well. Grendil is more a follower then a leader. If he's with a group of strangers he'll just smile and nod alot. Right after Impressing Johireth he was injured and came down with a fever that wiped his memory. Now he is very childlike and innocent. He and Joh should be in a fighting wing by now, but they are not ready for such responsibility. History: Gr'dil was born the son of G'eriak, a blue Fort rider. He never found out who his mother was, and frankly, was never interested to. He has always just let things happen to him, and eventually, at age 14 he found himself at Arolos. Not really protesting, he soon found himself at the Weyr that his father seems to think is so much better then Fort. After standing his first Hatching and not Impressing, Gr'dil decided to buckle down and really try. He was helping some other candidates try and feed their flits when they discovered a nest of flit eggs, intact and just Hatching. He Impressed two of them, Seaspray and Sandy. After he Impressed his dear Johireth he took ill with a fever and lost his memory. He hasn't ever recovered any of it and it has caused the pair to fall behind the rest in their training. Information about Gr'dil's pets Pet Name: Seaspray Pet Type: green flit Appearance: She is a very light green flit, with darker shadings around her joints. Just barely out of the shell and still growing. Personality: It's still too early to have too much personality, but loves to be held by just about anybody. She doesn't like to be carried in the pouch that Grendil made for them. Second Pet Name: Sandy Pet Type: Brown flit Appearance: Sandy is also very light in color, a sandy brown. He is a little pudgy at the moment, bhe is also still growing. Personality: Sandy doesn't like to be held by any one other then Grendil. But he will let Twilight hold him. He loves to be in the shade that the pouch provides and will spend the entire day asleep in there. Information about Gr'dil's dragon Dragon Name: Johireth Colour: Blue Age: 2.5 turns Wing (Weyrling Group): Skystrikers Appearance: Johireth is a deep blue, the color of the sea on a calm day. He is growing into a fine young dragon, well muscled but not too big. The only blemish on his hide is the scar he got at Hatching along his leg. Personality: Johireth loves to play but doesn't let himself very often. He is too busy looking after Gr'dil. He is cautious when it comes to trying new things and makes sure that both he and Gr'dil know exactly what is going on before he will let either attempt something new. Weyr of Origin: Arolos Abilites and weaknesses: He is thoughtful and and very dedicated to his rider. A strength or a weakness, you decide.
