Ed'jornCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: Edamjorn gives the immediate impression of being the quiet, if slightly jumpy type. He keeps his light brown hair shaggy, which leaves him to brush it out of the hazel eyes in his tanned face. He sports an aquiline nose, which is thankfully not as pronounced as the one of his eldest brother. Edamjorn is at the stage in his life when he looks less like a boy and more like a man. Personality: Edamjorn is an introvert, most likely resulting from his position as the middle child in his family. His younger sister often attracted the attention of his parents, while harrasment was what he typically received from one of his elder brothers. Over time he became quite insecure, and thus nervous around other people. When confronted by people he would often become jumpy, but since Impressing Survith, he has gained confidence. Running his hands throuh his hair is a well-known nervous habit of his that he has not been able to break. History: Edamjorn was born and raised in Keroon, as were all his forebears who worked, as he does, in Keroon’s Crafthalls. Named after his maternal grandsire, he is the third of four children; two older brother, Edran (23) and Alman (21), and a younger sister, Melia (13). The long turns between his birth and the birth of his sister is probably what contributed to the harassment he receives from Alman, who was the middle child in the interim. Feeling jealous of the then baby of the family, Alman tormented him endlessly and continued to do so out of habit even after Melia replaced Edamjorn as the baby. He would typically run and hide among the beast holdings when trying to hide from his brother, leading to his preferment of their company over that of other people. Having been beaten into submission already, Edamjorn never protested the way his parents doted upon Melia. Both his elder brothers are journeymen in the beasthold, while his sister has never been fostered and is quite spoiled. Information about Ed'jorn's pets Pet Name: Soren Pet Type: Blue Firelizard Appearance: Soren is a rich, dark blue with lighter splotches along his wings. Personality: A regular ball of energy, Soren rarely stays still unless he's sleeping. He'll wander about if there's more fun to be had with other firelizards, regularly returning to Ed'jorn. He tends to be a bit of a pushover among the other firelizards, which is probably why he tries (with little success) to boss about Ed'jorn and Survith. Information about Ed'jorn's dragon Dragon Name: Survith Colour: Brown Age: 3 Wing (Weyrling Group): Thunder Flame Appearance: Survith hatched starving in a way none of the other hatchlings were hungry for food. He was beyond hunger. His bones poked alarmingly at his severely wrinkled, too loose hide. His opalescent eyes appeared extremely huge because his cheeks were sunken and the dry hide pulled taut over his headknobs. Personality: Survith began to thrive from the moment he Impressed his lifemate. The love that kept him going inside the egg, the knowledge that his lifemate was waiting for him, gave him what he needed to persevere. The indomitable spirit of this hatchling will stay with him forever. Never will Survith lose his propensity to overcome adversity. When other dragons complain about the hunger in their bellies, he just nods and knows that he's been through something they cannot comprehend. He will forever be a stoic dragon, and he will give to his lifemate exactly what he needs. In Ed'jorn's opinion, Survith was never young, doling out wisdom and advice to his lifemate as though he were the older of the two. Weyr of Origin: Arolos Abilites and weaknesses: Survith often feels that if it doesn't kill him, then it's endurable, requiring Ed'jorn to ensure that the dragon doesn't push himself to a point that's not healthy, especially during Fall when the brown might brush off less than critical Thread damage. He is usually a very pragmatic dragon, though, and so this is not often a point of concern.
