Character type: Dragonrider
Appearance: Deavon is about 5'11", lean with some hint of muscle, He has sable brown hair with black highlights and grassy green eyes. He has light tan skin with a scar on his jaw line. He's got strong arms with big hands ;) Its pretty obvious at first glance that he's worked the land and with animals before. He has a rough handsomeness...farmboy handsomeness
Personality: Deavon is a real friendly guy, likes to say hi to everyone. He is a hard worker and normally listens to his superiors. The only time he's ever not listened is when it goes against his own principals which are to never hurt someone or something weaker then him. He has worked with animals, the land, and children, all of which he enjoyed.
History: Deavon is a Holdbrat, he never had parent and his hold raised him. When he was of age, he started working the fields. Being without parents, he has been passed from crafter to crafter, becoming a bit of a jack of all trades. One day he was working with the herd beasts when a child ran out into the herd, almost getting trampled. Deavon ran out and grabbed up the boy, sending him home to his parents. Time passed and he had forgotten all about it until one night a package was left in his room. He opened it to find a flit egg and a note of thanks. That night it hatched, revealing a beautiful cream brown flit he named Valren, after the boy he had helped. The other day he was working with the children when a bluerider landed and said he was invited to come to the weyr and stand as a candidate.
