B'torCharacter type: Dragonrider Appearance: B'tor is tall, B'tor is handsome, B'tor *looks* like a bronzerider. He's got dark hair that falls in waves to his shoulders, he's got a strong jaw line and he's muscular. And all the is marred by the scars that remain where his eyes once were. Did I say scars? Yup. Nasty bloody mess when he arrived at Arolos. B'tor was blinded, using a hot poker, by the rankers of Fort Weyr before he was forcibly transfered down. And all because B'tor *isn't* a bronzerider. He's got a blue. And the fact that he carriers himself like a bronzer would fool many a person if he wasn't wearing his knots. He got himself in trouble one too many times and now the handsome face is marred forever and he's left to wander in darkness. Personality: B'tor was a steryotypical Fort Weyr brat - a brat of a bronzer that was expected to Impress bronze. Only when he Impressed blue Kirenth his life went upside down. How could *he* have Impressed blue! B'tor is a very intelligent man - on a bronze he would easily have risen to Wingsecond if not higher. He *still* thinks he should be able to rise to Wingsecond and as a result has become fiercely anti-establishment. There's nothing wrong with him - or with most of the lower riders he knows - so why are they kept down! He's a fiery guy, he'll stand up for what he believes in and doesn't think twice before backchating to rankers. It's earning him a *lot* of enemies and how he's survived seven turns as a bluerider is anyone's guess. B'tor likes to put on the act of being fiercely hetro-sexual. Oh he'll bed men during flights... and while at Fort he use to put on the act of fist fighting them off if they tried outside of flights. But now at Arolos he's finding he can be who he never thought he was. B'tor is one of Pern's suicide bombers - he's going to bring down the establishment and he doesn't care who get's hurt in the process! Of course he got himself caught the last time. Caught in the middle of a riot with a knife in a rankers back. That was it.... Blind now he's even more bitter about rankers - he's just got no way of telling who they are in Arolos. History: Bartor was the son of a bronze, who in turn was the son of a bronze. He fully expected that he too would Impress bronze as did everyone else. As a brat he got treated the way any young man expecting to Impress bronze was... and he loved it. Then at 15 his life was turned upside down. It was a blue - Kirenth - that chose him, not the expected bronze. His father transfered away in shame and B'tor found himself bullied and reviled by those he used to call friends. The firey young man wouldn't stand for it. He *knew* without a shadow of a doubt that he was better than them... and with Kirenth being a very large blue he intended to prove it! B'tor's life since the day of his Impression has been one long round of insubordination, beatings, plotting and attacks. He's not giving up though... they'd have to do something pretty drastic to break his spirit! Information about B'tor's dragon Dragon Name: Kirenth Colour: Blue Age: 7 Wing (Weyrling Group): Miscellaneous Riders Appearance: Kirenth is a big blue, and I mean *big*. He's easily able to rival the size of the smaller browns and he's muscular to boot. His colouring is a very even shade of sapphire blue, he looks almost regal and as he has a finely shaped head the greens tend to agree with him. Personality: Kirenth is arrogant. With the flattery of the greens and his own rider's beliefs Kirenth firmly believes that he is equaly as good as any bronze out there. He has the timerity to rise after the golds - though he's never yet even got close to winning - and will chase greens with gay abandon. After all... it's only his *right* to fly greens because he's gong to lead a Wing some day! Weyr of Origin: Fort Abilites and weaknesses: Kirenth has the best of both worlds - he's got the stamina afforded by his large size and the manoueverability of the average blue. This gives him a lot of advantages in both Fall and flight.... and it's also making lots of browns and bronzes *seriously* dislike him.
