Name Pronounced: Ah-var-ee-el
Appearance: Raven locks descend about her shoulders in loose ringlets, dark waves of varying lengths falling no further than upper spine. Chin-length bangs are swept aside to reveal light, honey brown eyes - more amber in hue than actually brown - that shine with cunning and intelligence, a certain depthlessness to their appearance lends to the ease with which one can find themselves enchanted. Sharp features occasionally display complimentary expressions that soften the angled planes of her visage, though brows are more likely to hold a sarcastic arch and supple lips a vicious grin. Pale complexion, accented by a sprinkling of freckles upon her high cheek-bones, will probably gain an uncomfortable burn before gaining a lightly bronzed tan when exposed to the Southern sun.
Personality: Best described as spontanious and fun-loving, but not without her faults, of course. With a tendancy towards a caustic wit and blunt honesty, she tends to make enemies as often as she gains friends. She won't humor peers to gain their favor; if they do something she doesn't like, they'll hear about it. Being stubborn, opinionated, and strong willed, they'll probably hear about it quite often. On the other hand, Avariel loves to be unpredictable and frequently acts on impulse before thinking things through thoroughly. She can be sweet, kind, and unusually gentle, but tends towards sarcasm and humor. Admittedly, she can be cruel. It is unwise to push her buttons to the point of fury.
History: Avariel was born the youngest of two to Gavyn and Shardae of Riversford Runnerhold, a small operation based near the borders of Keroon and Igen that specialized in racingbred runners. By family craft, she became very familiar with every aspect of the runnerbeasts in their hold, and began learning beastcrafting early. She developed a love of the creatures she was surrounded by, and became able to understand them on a level few are able to reach quickly.
