Name Pronounced: Almira
Appearance: Almira has thick, chestnut hair that tends to curl, reaching to mid-back, and usually kept in a braid. Her skin tone is nicely tanned due always working outdoors in her family's small hold. Her eyes are light in color, being a very light grey. Her build is trim, though not overly thin, nor overly muscled. And she is of an average height, approximately 5'7".
Personality: Personality wise, Almira is the type who prefers to watch in silence rather than talk. She has found that she learns more by watching and listening. Almira will take charge if no one else does, but prefers to work in the background. She is also not at all afraid of hard work, and will jump in to help if she sees the need. One thing she does enjoy is working with very young children. Almira is not the most gregarious person, but is perfectly willing to take orders and carry them out to the best of her ability. She does enjoy spending time with her sister, who is her best friend.
History: Almira has lived all her life in Atoll Hold, with her parents and two siblings, one older sister and a younger brother. She is the middle child, and fills that niche perfectly. Her family makes a very good living from fishing, and the pearls they dive for. Her childhood was quiet and happy, full of hard work, though diving for pearls used to be great fun, almost a game, a challenge between siblings to see who could harvest the most. When Almira was 12, however, that changed. Her older sister was severely injured while she and Almira were gathering pearls one day. Almira is unable to recall just what happened, but it left her sister partially paralyzed, and Almira now has a terrible fear of any water deeper than waist high, or chest high if she really pushes it. Since that day, she had refused to gather pearls or go fishing, but spends most of her time working in and around the hold, and helping care for her sister.
Almira is a candidate. Her colour preference is Gold, Green, Blue
