(Tailor Lesson) Apprentice Project - Belt Making, Part 2Entered by: Betsy Date: 2006-11-25 Relevant to: Arolos Summary: Tulli’s foot tapped idly against the lowest rung of the stool as he waited for the apprentices to arrive. There was a different array of materials set upon the broad worktable on this occasion – though a few scraps of fabric and measuring tapes remained for those who might wish to start over or still hadn’t completed the basic aspects of their belt, the majority of the space was taken up with spools of different colored threads, long strips of leather, beads, laces, and other decorative touches. This lesson would introduce a bit more specialization – embroidery would be the main focus of the occasion, but those wishing to be a bit more elaborate in their designs would be encouraged to experiment. A smile rose over Tuli’s face at the sound of footsteps in the hall – any moment now … All references to worlds and characters based on Anne McCaffrey's fiction are copyright© Anne McCaffrey 1967,2005, all rights reserved, and used by permission of the author.
