CANDIDATE LECTURE - What if you don't Impress?Entered by: ArolosBoD Date: 2005-01-14 Relevant to: Arolos Summary: "One of the most frequent questions I hear is… what if I don't Impress?" Tiella addressed the group. The Candidate Master's assistant sat on the edge of the desk, "First of all...once Searched, though it is possible, the odds are not likely that you WON'T impress eventually. Consider how many queens are in a weyr, laying queens... usually up to 5. That's approximately two clutches a year each with an average of 20 eggs per clutch. That's a conservative estimate of 200 chances every Turn that you will Impress. And the real figure during Pass is likely to be higher...and there is the possibility of being presented at Clutches in other Weyrs.
